00:00Can you take us through the half-court shot?
00:02I mean, there was a lot of time still on the clock, I think we shot in like three seconds.
00:06Did you kind of have your mind made up that...
00:08Oh yeah, I knew that was going up before I got in my hands.
00:15I work on those.
00:17A lot.
00:19Luka, you spoke to the crowd of the game.
00:21What made you want to start this new season by sending a message to the fans?
00:25We want the support from fans, you know.
00:27I know they work hard, you know, to get to the games, to get to the arena.
00:31So, I always had something in me that, you know, I need to have that connection with the fans.
00:36So, just trying to welcome them to the new season and, you know, that they know that we really appreciate
00:43their support.
00:44Luka, you've been the face of a franchise before you took the Mavs to the finals,
00:48but how does this feel for you now and does it feel any different than it felt before?
00:52I mean, obviously, the Lakers, you know, it's one of the biggest organizations in the world, if not the biggest.
00:57So, I'm very...
00:58It's a very...
01:00A lot of honor just to be the face of the franchise and, you know, I hope I can stay
01:06here long.
01:07It doesn't feel, I mean, not different, but like I said, it's very, very much honor and just enjoy this
01:13moment.
01:13Also, how much are you spending on free parking for the fans and bike rides and the ad in the
01:20LA Times?
01:20I don't know what their ad rates are these days, but what is this costing you?
01:23I don't know the exact amount, but like I said before, you know, it's very important for me to connect
01:28with fans.
01:29I know how much, how hard they work, you know, just to get to the games.
01:33So, I'm just trying to help them out a little bit.
01:35It was very calm that I wanted to be able to talk about in the future.
01:36So, more power...
01:36You
