00:00First of all, I have to apologise to the supporters. I went over to the end.
00:04I care about this football club as much as anyone, if not more, of the position that I'm in
00:11and what I value with this football club.
00:15For us to play in that way, it's not acceptable.
00:20It wasn't a good performance at all.
00:24We wanted to build on what we brought to Leeds in the performance that we had at Leeds.
00:30And that bit of intensity, that spirit, that aggression, that real willingness to give everything.
00:39Tonight was the totally opposite of a performance, I have to say.
00:43It was tough to watch.
00:45Genuinely, it's difficult to understand how it can be so different.
00:51It shouldn't be like that. We can all play well, we can all have poor performances,
00:55but to do it in that manner is really not right at all.
00:58You were at Watford when Ole went and acknowledged the fans
01:02and he obviously cared a great deal about Manchester United in the same way that you do.
01:09A lot of people tonight will look at you and wonder whether the same outcome is going to happen.
01:17What is your view on that?
01:20I always go over to the fans anyway, regardless.
01:23So, it wasn't a particularly different kind of reason why I went over.
01:30I think it's the appreciation and the acknowledgement of what they've gone through
01:34and they have done over a period of a few weeks now.
01:38But particularly tonight, I think, as I said, I was one of them.
01:42I'm feeling the same as them.
01:43So, for them to make the effort and spend the money and come and hope for something,
01:49you know, we've got a lot of values in this football club and what we're representing
01:54and how we want to go about it.
01:56We might win, we might lose.
01:57But the way we went about it tonight, I wouldn't say everyone,
02:00but the way we went about it in some ways tonight was unacceptable.
02:04I've just got to let the fans know that I feel for them, for sure.
