00:01Flat ceiling lighting is what makes a modern room look cheap.
00:05Recessed downlights fix that fast, and I buried myself in listings so you don't have to.
00:10Here's my top 5 recessed LED downlights for modern ceilings, best deals first.
00:16Number 1 is this 10-pack of recessed round downlights.
00:19You get 7, 9, 12, 15 and 18 what in one order, so a single pack can cover a hallway
00:25and a bedroom.
00:27Price is $23.42 for all 10, about 2 bucks a light.
00:32Nearly 4,800 sold, 4.6 stars.
00:36One catch, it's AC220V, so skip it if your ceiling is 110.
00:41But this is the one I'd actually start with.
00:45Recessed round downlights, fully dimmable, cob LED chips, and they run from 90 to 260 volts, so 110 or 220
00:52doesn't matter.
00:54Power driver comes in the box, which saves a whole extra errand.
00:59$2.70 each, 5 stars from buyers, almost 4,800 sold.
01:05Third is this ultra-thin LED panel downlight, and ultra-thin is the whole point.
01:10These are flat discs that fit into ceilings with almost no-depth older homes, concrete ceilings, anywhere the space is
01:16tight.
01:173 to 18 watts, handles 110 and 220, and it's $4.69 each with a perfect 5-star score.
01:25Fourth is the fun one, a Tuya Bluetooth Smart Down Light.
01:29Pair it in the Tuya app from your phone, no hub, no Wi-Fi setup, then you get RGB plus
01:34cool to warm white, full dimming, and scenes you set once and forget.
01:3810 or 15 watts, $7.17, 4.9 stars, over 4,300 sold.
