00:00Johnny Nitro es K-Pitt personal trainer
00:04¿Qué si se puede ser Melina personal de la personalidad?
00:08Probablemente no
00:13Y desde Cambridge, North Carolina
00:16Llegué a 225 lbs
00:19He es el Inter-Hunton Eagle Champion
00:22Jeff Hardy
00:30Jeff Hardy, a 3-time Intercontinental Champion
00:36Certainly a personal rivalry exists
00:39Between Johnny Nitro and Jeff Hardy
00:42As a result of what happened in Armageddon
00:45In December when Eminem reunited for one night
00:48And Joey Mercury's face was almost destroyed
00:52In that ladder match involving the Hardys
00:54Look at Jeff Hardy
00:57Gazing at that steel cage
01:01Remember ladies and gentlemen
01:03This match can be won by pitfall
01:05Submission
01:06Or escaping the cage
01:08Just like that
01:09As a matter of fact
01:10Over the top
01:11Or through the door
01:13But
01:14To make an escape official
01:16Both feet must touch the floor
01:18Looks like Jeff Hardy just touched the canvas
01:21Notice how
01:23Jeff Hardy's almost cat-like
01:26All these young men are in their 20s
01:29Certainly a boat
01:30They're very competitive
01:31Very athletic
01:31There it is, JR
01:33Intercontinental Gold
01:35First Intercontinental Champion
01:36Of course
01:37A WWE Hall of Famer
01:38Pat Patterson
01:42All that's left to do
01:43Is lock the cage
01:44It's been locked, JR
01:46Well the door
01:47Has been shut
01:49Not locked yet
01:50It was an escape cage
01:51I would suggest
01:52If the door was locked
01:53It wouldn't be an escape
01:54Well that's a big lock on it
01:55Right there
01:55Come on
01:56Don't be so technical
01:59Chance had the referee
02:00With this
02:01One fall match
02:02Again
02:02One fall
02:03Or submission
02:04Escape the cage
02:05Over the top
02:06Or through the door
02:07Both feet must touch the floor
02:09For that escape
02:09Could be official
02:11And Jeff Hardy
02:12Getting the crowd here
02:13In the Kipper Arena
02:14Behind him
02:15That wouldn't be hard to do
02:18Both of
02:18These young men
02:19This match could
02:21Resemble a crash and burn
02:23Human demolition derby
02:25Before it is all said and done
02:27And Johnny Nitro
02:28The challenger
02:30Has gained the early advantage
02:31Very basically
02:33By just beating Jeff Hardy down
02:35And then working on that lower back
02:37Yeah but you know
02:37We've seen Jeff Hardy
02:38In a lot of matches like this
02:40This young man
02:41He personifies the word
02:42Resilient
02:43He keeps coming at you
02:45Jeff Hardy fighting back
02:47Against Nitro
02:48Nitro down that corner
02:51And Hardy stomping away
02:52And both men trying to
02:54Gain a distinct early advantage
03:01As high flying as both these men are
03:03You know you're trying to
03:04One's trying to debilitate the other
03:07Which is easier said than done
03:09As you said
03:10Both these young men are
03:12Extremely resilient
03:14And you know JR
03:15If you were to try to escape
03:16From this thing prematurely
03:18Somebody could yank you
03:19Off the top of that steel cage
03:20And that'd be it
03:21That'd be at the end of the match
03:27That's Jeff Hardy
03:28I think he realizes
03:29I think he realizes
03:29You have to be
03:30Oh
03:30You have to be somewhat defensive
03:32Before you can really be offensive
03:34Very unique offense
03:35Jeff Hardy with a cover
03:36First cover
03:38Oh man
03:38Oh boy
03:39That was extremely close
03:41I'm not so sure
03:42The referee's hand in touch
03:43For the three
03:44But no doubt
03:45The shoulders of Nitro
03:46Oh man
03:47That's a wheelbarrow-like maneuver there
03:49And Nitro gets the cover
03:53And the hook
03:53And he gets a near fall
03:55Following Jeff Hardy's in time
03:59Molina already has one
04:01Scream
04:02Shring
04:02That's a scream, JR
04:05He is a screaming vanshee
04:08What's a vanshee?
04:10Oh, it could be later on that one
04:11Even though on pay-per-view
04:13And Tony
04:15Facebuster there
04:16Out of that suplex position
04:17Clear-lapse hook
04:18And
04:18Oh man
04:19Interesting that Hardy
04:21And Nitro
04:22Are operating on the ground
04:24Here in the early going
04:25Well you know
04:26That's not going to last long
04:27Both of them had their pilot slices
04:28And nobody there
04:30Springboard
04:31With a Sabat kick
04:32A beautiful move by Nitro
04:34And Nitro the challenger
04:36Looking to make a cover
04:38And does
04:38Count
04:39And the three was coming down
04:43A beautiful move by
04:44By Johnny Nitro
04:46Oh, look at this
04:46And Nitro
04:47Jeff Hardy's got to make sure
04:49Nitro doesn't escape
04:50Well Jeff just grabbed that ankle
04:52Just in the nick of time
04:53Oh, now
04:53Here goes Nitro
04:55First attempt to
04:56Climb out of the cage
04:58But again
04:58You leave yourself
04:59In a certain
05:01Vulnerable position
05:02When you try to climb
05:04Over the top
05:04No doubt about that
05:05That's what we were saying earlier
05:06You know
05:08Watch out
05:09Nice
05:10Jeff Hardy with a
05:11Almost a swinging
05:13Lariat
05:13Taking down
05:15Nitro
05:15Check out one more time
05:16This
05:17Giant kick there
05:18From Johnny Nitro
05:19But now the tables have been turned
05:21That was a beautiful athletic move
05:22By Nitro
05:23Because Hardy's got it for the door here
05:25The door's open
05:26And Jeff Hardy
05:27Trying to escape the cage
05:29One way of winning
05:31And Nitro
05:32Make sure that doesn't happen here
05:34See referee Mike Kiyota
05:35Manning the door
05:36And a reverse wheel kick by Hardy
05:39These two men are seemingly as proficient with their feet
05:43As they are with their hands
05:45And that'll come in handy later
05:47When they try to climb out of this steel cage
05:50You're sitting right here
05:52At the bottom of this thing
05:54You get the feeling of how huge this cage is
05:57And Jeff Hardy now
05:58Facing Nitro
06:00Oh
06:00Oh
06:01Damn
06:01And Hardy got hung out to dry
06:04Nitro with a very resourceful drop kick
06:06Resourceful
06:07Come on
06:07I think clever maneuver would be a better description of that
06:10You gotta admit, J.R.
06:11That was a good maneuver
06:12I thought it was a very
06:15What?
06:15I think my glasses just broke
06:16I love it
06:18Oh, man
06:19I wanted a screamer for Christmas
06:21Instead I got a sweater
06:25Nitro with a running knee lift
06:27And Jeff Hardy
06:27Nowhere to go
06:28Trying to hang on
06:30Nowhere to go
06:31Into that steel cage
06:32Which is somewhat unforgiving
06:34And Nitro again
06:35Those running knee lifts
06:37Using that knee
06:38Is that like a battering ring
06:39On Jeff Hardy
06:42And again Hardy
06:43Being beaten down
06:45By the challenger
06:48Nitro time
06:48They're really into this match
06:49They're behind Jeff Hardy
06:51Watch this knee
06:52One more time
06:53By Johnny Nitro
06:54I think it's about to get Jeff Hardy in
06:55But here goes Nitro
06:56Nitro looking to leave
06:58And looking to escape
06:59More importantly
07:00Looking to win the Intercontinental Championship
07:02And now Jeff Hardy's up there
07:04Now these two men are in the high risk zone
07:08And neither are intimidated
07:09Oh, Jeff Hardy
07:10Off the top
07:11With a drop kick
07:13Now it's time to try to get out of there, Jeff
07:15Oh, but he's not in too good of shape
07:16I don't think Hardy landed like he wanted to
07:19Hardy landed around the lowest part of his back
07:23And Melina trying to comfort Nitro
07:25Yeah
07:26Oh, check that out
07:28You're right
07:29That was not a good
07:31Not a good landing for Jeff Hardy
07:33But an even worse landing for Johnny Nitro
07:38Both men back up
07:40The Intercontinental Championship on the line here
07:42At Kempfer Arena in Kansas City
07:44And look at the effort
07:45Oh, Jeff Hardy
07:46Jeff Hardy leaping off to the top
07:49Oh, man
07:51Jeff Hardy tried to catch Johnny Nitro by surprise
07:53He almost did it
07:55Are there any gazelles in North Carolina?
07:58Because that's what Jeff Hardy looked like
08:00Watch out here, Jared
08:01This is what I was talking about
08:02He yanked up the top
08:04And a suplex by Nitro
08:06Thrilling Jeff Hardy off the top
08:10And you can only assume and imagine
08:12What these two young men
08:14What their backs
08:15Their bodies are going to feel like
08:16Well, the back of both
08:17Their heads bounced off that
08:19That canvas there
08:20Both of them feeling the effects of that
08:22Here we go
08:23And Nitro
08:24And that mount position
08:27Hammering down on
08:28Jeff Hardy and the Matson
08:31Canning the suplex out one more time
08:33Right at the back of their head
08:37That's why I'm digging a car crash there
08:39With those two coming off
08:39The top rope
08:41And their heads
08:42Smacking that canvas
08:43So watch out here
08:46And Nitro catapulted
08:48He was lunged right into the
08:50That beam
08:52That steel beam there
08:53That you see
08:54Running down the middle of the cage
08:57And the beam didn't give an ounce
09:00There you go Jeff
09:02Hardy again
09:04Climbing to the top
09:06And the early part of this match
09:08It was both men going for pinfalls
09:10And now it seems that we are in the escape phase
09:13Of the Intercontinental Championship
09:15Uh oh
09:16The punishment
09:18Sideways and left sweep off the top rope
09:21Both guys are down
09:22These two young men are so evenly matched
09:24JR
09:25It's gonna
09:26This one's gonna definitely go right down to the wire
09:31Malina trying to do
09:33I don't know if she had her hand in the cage
09:40And now it's a
09:41And there's gonna be
09:42We knew this was gonna be a gut check
09:44Situation
09:45Who was gonna crash and burn the worst
09:47Would probably lose
09:48And I don't know
09:50Both guys are
09:51The challenger and the champion
09:53Or both in physically
09:54Bad shape it would seem to me
09:56Jeff Hardy's taking some
09:58Pretty awful chances so far in this match
10:00Sometimes they pay off
10:01Sometimes they don't
10:02Nitro hammering away at that lower back
10:04And kidney area
10:05Oh look at Jeff Hardy
10:06Look at this
10:06Nitro using Jeff Hardy as a step
10:10Nitro
10:11Indeed using Hardy literally
10:12As a stepping stone
10:14To win the Intercontinental title
10:16And Nitro in a very
10:18Very precarious
10:18Position on top of the cage
10:21Yeah he's up there
10:21But if he can
10:22Kick Jeff Hardy
10:23Backwards
10:24No he's got
10:24What a death defying move
10:32It was a sunset flip
10:34Into a power bomb
10:35From the top of the cage
10:38And Hardy's body is
10:40Watch this one more time
10:41Watch the back of Jeff Hardy's head
10:43Oh
10:44Jeff Hardy's head
10:45Bouncing off that canvas
10:47And Hardy can be concussed
10:49Very easily
10:50Nitro can somehow
10:52Muster the strength
10:53He can get out of this
10:54He can win this thing right here
10:57Remember the Intercontinental Championship
10:58Is at stake
10:59Jeff Hardy is the champion
11:00Johnny Nitro
11:02A former two-time champion
11:03Has had both his reigns
11:05Ended by the man
11:06That he's facing now
11:07Jeff Hardy
11:08And Nitro has an opportunity
11:10To escape the cage
11:11And looks again to come
11:13Intercontinental Championship
11:14Here he goes
11:17One leap
11:18He's to the top
11:19Here he goes
11:20Jeremy
11:20He's out
11:21He's out
11:22He's out
11:22He's over
11:22Jeff Hardy trying to regroup
11:25But can't Jeff Hardy
11:25Regroup in time
11:27Hardy with a shot
11:28To the lower back
11:29Oh no
11:31Johnny Nitro is in a
11:33Oh
11:35Nitro hanging
11:35Look at Nitro hanging upside down
11:38From the top of the cage
11:39Oh my god
11:40I can break his legs
11:41Nitro's feet are caught in that cage
11:44I've never seen that before
11:45In any cage match
11:49Nitro pulling himself up
11:51He's got one leg out
11:54Nitro
11:54Wow
11:55Got to win
11:56What kind of damage
11:57Nitro's done to his legs here
12:00With the help of Jeff Hardy
12:01Nitro trying to escape
12:03Now Jeff Hardy
12:04Oh
12:05Hey
12:05What is this?
12:07Melina with the belt
12:09Melina undressing partially
12:11And taking her belt off
12:12And in the meantime
12:14A missile drop kick
12:16By Johnny Nitro
12:17That did indeed find it smart
12:19On the Intercontinental Champion
12:21Jeff Hardy
12:22And Melina used that belt
12:24With the metal studs in it
12:25On the hands of Jeff Hardy
12:27As he's trying to clock out again
12:28Wow
12:33That led to the missile drop kick
12:35And Johnny Nitro
12:37Once again
12:38Bolting him down
12:41Tremendously competitive match
12:42To start off
12:43New Year's Revolution
12:44And if you're wondering at home
12:45Why Melina wasn't disqualified
12:47Remember
12:48There's only three ways
12:49To win this match
12:50Pin
12:51Submission
12:52Or escaping
12:53The cage
12:54You can't win by
12:56Disqualification
12:57Look out
12:58The neck breaker
12:59By Johnny Nitro
13:00Beautiful step away
13:02Neck breaker
13:02Melina is happy
13:03Oh my god Nitro
13:04Obviously
13:05Assume she's happy
13:07She seems to be
13:08Somewhat of a material girl
13:09To me
13:09Well she's certainly
13:10An asset
13:11At ringside
13:12Oh my god
13:13He scared me there
13:14For a minute
13:14And Nitro
13:16Now stepping up to the top
13:17And Nitro
13:19Oh
13:19Jeff Hardy
13:21Block
13:22Trying to catch
13:23But blocked Nitro
13:24Who was a tipping
13:25I think
13:26A crossbody
13:26I don't know
13:28If it was a crossbody
13:29Or a car crash
13:31Hey here goes Jeff
13:34Now Jeff Hardy
13:35Climbing to the top
13:38Inside the ring
13:39Short time bond
13:41By Jeff Hardy
13:42On Johnny Nitro
13:45The challenger
13:46And a very disturbed look
13:48On Melina's face
13:49Well I think Melina can see
13:51Her man's opportunity
13:53To become the
13:53Intercontinental Champion
13:54Slipping away here
13:56And
13:57Jeff Hardy
13:58With a cover
13:59Hardy's got the cover
14:01And Nitro
14:03Pretty good
14:04Clear with it all
14:05By Nitro
14:05To have
14:06The
14:07Ring savvy
14:08To
14:09No worry
14:10Why else
14:10You're gonna put
14:10On the bottom rope
14:11But stop the count
14:14Jeff Hardy
14:15Thought he had a
14:15One there
14:15And that might
14:16Come back to
14:17The Intercontinental Champion
14:19Not winning a match
14:20With your best maneuver
14:21And the close lines
14:22Are flying here
14:23And the ground attack
14:24Being reinitiated
14:26By the Intercontinental Champion
14:27Johnny Nitro
14:29Still
14:29Easy from that
14:31Swanton
14:31Bomb
14:32And now
14:35Tremendous elevation
14:37By Hardy
14:38On is the challenger
14:39Johnny Nitro
14:40Nitro's back
14:41Has to be killing him
14:42Look at that
14:43Nitro again
14:44Sensing
14:45Jeff Hardy's
14:46Presence
14:47Got a foot up
14:48And now Nitro
14:49Not wasting any time
14:50Trying to get the heck
14:51Out of his cage
14:52And win the
14:52Intercontinental Championship
14:54Oh yeah
14:54But Nitro's hurt
14:55JR
14:56I don't think
14:57Jeff Hardy's
14:58Departed
14:58Passing Army
14:59Fiscal right now
15:00Himself
15:00And Nitro again
15:04Halfway out
15:04Nitro straddling
15:06The cage
15:07And if Nitro
15:08Speed
15:09Touch the floor
15:09This one's over
15:11Better grab that
15:11Hair
15:11That leg
15:12Jeff Hardy
15:13He's got him
15:13By the hair
15:15Hardy trying to
15:16Desperately
15:16And does
15:17Hardy does
15:18Pulled Nitro
15:19Back to the ring
15:20And oh
15:23Attempted twist of fate
15:24That did not work
15:26For Jeff Hardy
15:28You got to
15:29Can Nitro now
15:31Capitalize
15:32Hardy is in trouble
15:34This is a
15:35Great opportunity
15:36For Johnny Nitro
15:37Nitro's back
15:38Is in such bad shape
15:39I don't know
15:39If he's going to be able
15:40To muster this straight
15:40But watch
15:41Watch Johnny Nitro here
15:42Push
15:43Jeff Hardy off
15:44Save himself
15:45With that twist of fate
15:47And that was
15:49Self-preservation
15:50For the challenger
15:51For the intercontinental title
15:52And Nitro's lower back
15:54As you said
15:55King
15:55Has got to be
15:56Screaming in pain
15:58Nitro's crying
16:00To climb the cage
16:01But certainly not
16:02As quickly
16:03As he did
16:03In the early going
16:04And you don't want
16:04You want to get your legs
16:05Hung up in there
16:06Again
16:06Johnny Nitro
16:06Be careful
16:07Nitro's trying to go to the top
16:09Hardy's crawling to the door
16:10Hey
16:11Melina
16:12You got to get out of the way
16:12Jeff Hardy wants that door open
16:14Come on
16:14Keota
16:15Just move her out of the way
16:17Nitro
16:17Nitro slips on the door
16:19Nitro's blocking the door
16:20From opening
16:21And Johnny Nitro
16:22Oh my gosh
16:25Hardy will feed
16:27And Jeff Hardy's outside
16:29Jeff Hardy retains
16:32Looking towards
16:33Johnny Nitro
16:34And still
16:36The intercontinental champion
16:38Jeff Hardy
16:41Johnny Nitro
16:42With the worst seat
16:43In the house
16:47Somebody help Nitro
16:49Boy it certainly
16:51Looked like Johnny Nitro
16:52Was going to win
16:52The intercontinental championship game
16:56Melina was
16:57Trying to be
16:58A bigger asset
16:59Than ever before
17:01But Jeff Hardy's
17:02Resourcefulness
17:04Created exactly
17:05Where Nitro is sitting
17:07And as you said
17:08That is not
17:09The best seat
17:10In the house
17:11Oh my goodness
17:15Great ovation
17:16For Jeff Hardy
17:18Let's check this out
17:19One more time
17:20Jeff Hardy
17:21Was trying to get out
17:22The door
17:22Melina was blocking it
17:24Finally when she
17:25Moved out of the way
17:25Come on
17:27Nitro still
17:28Lots the door
17:28But that's it
17:29Oh ho ho
17:32One more look at this
17:33Look at that landing
17:35By Johnny Nitro
17:36That's what creates
17:37Some severe
17:38Personal bruising
17:40To say the least
17:41Jeff Hardy
17:43We said it was going to be
17:44A crash and burn
17:46Human demolition derby
17:47It was that
17:48And more
17:49And Jeff Hardy
17:51Is still
17:51The intercontinental champion
17:552007 gets off
17:56On the right foot
17:57For that young man
17:57The other man
17:57Turn down the floor
