00:00The head coach of Leipzig says his players will show a more positive side of themselves tonight
00:07in the squad, the former Leipzig player, Canate who drops to the bench also
00:154-3-3, 4-2-3-1 perhaps, we'll just see how, and threat from all angles
00:25so away we go then, Leipzig attacking the goal away to our left
00:34Gruda, nice reverse for Baku, straight into the arms of Courtois
00:41first attempt on target from Leipzig now, got a few too many players ahead of the ball here
00:47the German club, red flag for danger, it's Mbappe
00:52well he saw that the angle was tight to go for the far corner and he tried to slip it
00:56to
00:57good work from Baku, here's Nkunku, now Rom, he's got Nusa wide, may not need him
01:04oh he went for the pass instead of the shot, for a brilliant save
01:09magnificent from Courtois to Danai Cardoso
01:14Thibaut Courtois down the years has been one of the very best goalkeepers on the planet
01:22sees it late, strong left hand, stays 0-0
01:27Cardoso unlucky
01:33first big opportunity for Romulo Cardoso, now Vinicius Jr. running at Orban
01:42gets the shot away, this time it's Van der Voort making the stop, good height for the goalkeeper
01:53Nusa
01:54is looking very lively in this first half, Cardoso's header won't trouble Courtois
02:01but this has been the perfect away performance so far
02:04and now Romulo on to Cardoso, Housen on the wrong side
02:10in fact it's Nkunku who got free
02:16Rom with the perfect pass, Valverde played him onside, look at the good sight he had of the Real Madrid
02:24goal
02:24should score there
02:26made life easy for Corp
02:32Bellingham
02:35lovely pass into Goulier, this is Mbappe
02:38and now Valverde
02:41oh he doesn't know where it is, Van der Voort
02:46but Bernardo Silva, very much the man on the spot
02:51and just shy of half time, Real Madrid hit the front
02:58barely any outward emotion from Jose Mourinho
03:04break on here, Vinicius Jr. and Mbappe wants the pass now
03:10but Vinicius Jr. goes for goal and draws a brilliant save out of Martin van der Voort
03:17that was very much on target
03:26strong enough arms to make sure he gets it up and away
03:30and the Santiago Bernabeu
03:33RB Leipzig with two big chances for Romulo Cardoso
03:37and Christopher Nkunku at 0-0
03:39but it's Real Madrid who hit the front through that man, Bernardo Silva
03:43who will get the second half underway
03:51Real Madrid making five changes from the starting 11 in Real Madrid
03:57can, like all top teams, dictate the tempo of a match

04:27Kylian Mbappe
04:28wondering if Goulet has taken this one off him
04:30he was looking to set up his team-mate
04:33Mbappe
04:33it was a gorgeous teasing cross
04:36from Jude Bellingham
04:40and RB Leipzig now do trail by two goals to nil
04:44goalkeeper left exposed
04:46Bellingham
04:51poor marking there from Leipzig
04:53wide from Mbappe

05:05good situation this for Leipzig
05:07and the header over the top
05:10and he attacked it well enough
05:13Romulo Cardoso
05:15but another troubling Courtois goal
05:34here's Goulet
05:35now Valverde
05:36sweeping forward with Menace again
05:39straight down the throat of van der Voort
05:44Valverde
05:44nobody chucking the run of Silva
05:49breaks for Bellingham
05:50didn't catch hold of that
05:52as he would have wished
05:54Kamavinga might
05:56and it's routine in the end for van der Voort
06:00Carreras is coming off
