00:19First up, the magnetic tablet with the steel bead pen, 535
00:24That bead pen is the whole trick
00:27Little steel balls stick to the board and roll into lines, loops, whatever your kid draws
00:32You pull the pen and the design stays
00:364,400 sold, so parents clearly get it
00:40Cheapest board on this list and the one I would buy first
00:43Next is the kid's magnetic drawing board, 755
00:48Two toys in one
00:50White side for letters and numbers, dark side for color graffiti
00:53Those neon markers leave a serious mess on paper and zero mess on this
00:57Rating 4.9 across thousands of reviews
01:01Worth it if your kid is at the scribble everywhere stage
01:05Third, the magnetic doodle board with stylus, 554
01:09This is the Montessori travel one, and I like it for one reason, it fits in a bag
01:15Plain, car seat, restaurant table, it goes anywhere and keeps the tablet busy
01:20Light, plastic, no ink
01:22A travel toy that actually travels
01:26Fourth, the new kid's magnetic beads board with the puzzle pen, 709
01:31Same bead concept, but the pen tip is puzzle-shaped, so kids fit magnets into patterns, animals, grids, shapes
01:38It quietly turns drawing into a matching game
01:41Rated 4.6, which is still solid, and it is aimed at 3- to 8-year-olds, so it
01:46grows with them
