Alicia is the most unassuming bookish girl on campus. With black-rimmed glasses and a gray hoodie, she has never once caught the eye of Leon, the school heartthrob, for three years. He even splashed water on her friend in public, sneering that “nerds have no personality.”
Then comes an extravagant masquerade ball. Alicia puts on a black lace mask and a red sequined gown, stepping into Leon’s sight as a mysterious woman.
