Faced with a severe crisis of shortage and famine in the land, Isaac's first reaction was to imitate his father Abraham's behavior: flee to Egypt in search of stability. However, God sharply intervened in Genesis 26:2, giving him an instruction that contradicted all survival logic: "Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you." Stay. This Short teaches us that, on many occasions, the greatest test of faith and true obedience do not consist in embarking on a new journey or finding a quick way out, but in having the courage to stand firm exactly where God planted you, even when your entire environment is screaming at you to move.
