00:24Replacing the decommissioned Captain EO in the Magic Eye Theater was Honey, I Shrunk the Audience.
00:29A Kodak-hosted 3D movie that debuted with the rest of Remodeled Tomorrowland in 1998.
00:35Like Captain EO, Honey had been shown in Florida before it was brought west to Anaheim.
00:41During the film's 18 minutes, guests wore their obligatory 3D glasses and meet MC Dr. Nigel Channing.
00:48Channing then brought in the Imagination Institute's Inventor of the Year, Professor Wayne Zielinski.
00:54Soon the nutty, but well-intentioned Zielinski accidentally miniaturizes the theater to lunchbox size and merriment ensues.
01:02As the audience viewed everything in the film, the cast, the props, the dog, a lunging snake, as if it
01:07were gigantic.
01:14Oh, Christy, how much time do we have left?
01:16Not much.
01:18Uh-oh, the audience is already seated.
01:20Where's Professor Zielinski?
01:22I don't know.
01:23Uh, hello everybody.
01:25We'll be with you in just a minute, as soon as we find the guest of honor.
01:29Look, there he is!
01:30Professor Zielinski!
01:40Well, hello.
01:41As you can see, I used my shrinking machine to not only shrink my size, but also my personal hover
01:46pod.
01:46Now I get 22 miles to the teaspoon.
01:49Whoa, watch out, those blades are sharp!
01:52Oh, hi, how you doing?
01:54Having a good time?
01:54Anyway, this machine combines speed, altitude, and hovering capabilities, left and right, all controlled by this little delicate piece of
02:09machinery.
02:11Whoa, uh-oh!
02:12Whoa!
02:13Nothing to worry about!
02:15Whoa, watch out!
02:17I didn't invent an emergency breakdown, but I'm in full control!
02:22Watch your head!
02:23Now what do we do?
02:26Start the show!
02:27Go!
02:28We're not ready to start the show!
02:35Spotlight!
02:36Spotlight!
02:37Yeah, that one's okay.
02:39Okay, go.
02:39Spotlight!
02:40Ladies and gentlemen, the chairman of the Imagination Institute, Dr. Nigel Channing.
02:49Oops!
02:52Thank you!
02:53And welcome to our annual Open House.
02:56On this day each year, we recognize our most innovative scientist.
03:01And this year, the award is going to a true genius.
03:07At the moment, he is only a little man, but believe me, he has big ideas.
03:13Ladies and gentlemen, I give you...
03:19I give you...
03:20I give you...
03:22I can find my control box!
03:24Dolinsky, watch out for the...
03:26Sign!
03:27Sorry, I'll pay for that!
03:29I'll pay for that!
03:30Whoa!
03:32Whoa!
03:35I'm okay!
03:36No problem!
03:38I'll be back!
03:40What happened?
03:41I don't know.
03:42Well, the professor certainly knows how to make an entrance.
03:45Not to mention an exit.
03:47Get that man back here immediately!
03:49Yes, sir!
03:49Hurry up!
03:50Right away!
03:53Well, we seem to have a little time on our hands, so...
03:57Why don't we...
04:00Why don't we meet the inspiration behind the perspiration?
04:04Let's meet the professor's wife, without whom the professor would not be...
04:10Wherever he is...
04:12Today.
04:13Let's meet Diane Zielinski!
04:17No, no, really, no.
04:18I'm sorry, but I've got to go help find Dwayne.
04:21Nikki, you watch at him, okay?
04:23Quark, fetch daddy!
04:25Hello, Diane.
04:27Hello.
04:28Nice to see you.
04:29Bye-bye.
04:29Wait!
04:30Here we go again, Quark.
04:32Well, bye, Diane.
04:35Um, why don't we meet the rest of the professor's family, his two sons...
04:41Nick and Adam.
04:46What?
04:47What is that?
04:49It's my python.
04:50Gigabyte.
04:51Snake!
04:52Didn't want him in the van.
04:53Why would you leave him in a van?
04:54And does he also have a dangerous reptile secreted about his person?
04:59He brought a photon.
05:01A snake?
05:02It's a mouse.
05:03A mouse!
05:04How cute!
05:05Let's see him!
05:06Oh, photon!
05:07And what do you feed photon?
05:09Jellybeans, boogers, and pizza.
05:13Anyone find food?
05:15He, uh...
05:15Over.
05:16Well, uh, if the professor were here, we would be demonstrating his dimensional duplicator.
05:23I-I can do it.
05:24What?
05:25I've spent time in the lab with my dad.
05:27Why should I entrust the most expensive piece of research equipment to a boy with a snake around his neck?
05:32Because I can turn it on.
05:33Right!
05:34Bring on the duplicator.
05:37Oh!
05:38This, uh, dimensional duplicator was developed right here by the professor.
05:43This fantastic machine can make exact replicas of any object at all.
05:48Insert item to be duplicated now.
05:50Now, as I understand it, Nick, all you do is you drop the object into the chamber, you press the
05:55button, and presto.
05:57It's so easy, even a child can do it.
06:00So now all we need is something to duplicate.
06:03Commencing copy mode.
06:04What?
06:05Adam!
06:07Get down, you're not supposed to play on that!
06:08No!
06:09Quickly, turn the machine off!
06:11Ted, turn it off!
06:14I don't know how!
06:15What do you mean you don't know how?
06:17I've only seen you do how to work it!
06:18They only showed me how to turn it on!
06:20Oh, great!
06:21Well, pull the plug!
06:22There is no plug!
06:23It cut the power!
06:24It's got to be nuclear powered or something.
06:25It cut it!
06:26It's nuclear what?
06:30Where are all the mice going?
06:32Towards the theater.
06:33Into the audience?
06:37What can we do about the mice?
06:38Quick, Dad's holographic pet generator.
06:40We'll generate a big cat.
06:42Well, help.
06:44Of course, we only did this so we could demonstrate Professor Zolinski's no-mess hollow pet.
06:50Help my dad build it.
06:52Really?
06:52It's perfect for those who long for the companionship of a pet, but none of the associated mess or mice.
07:00Give him more power.
07:02Too much!
07:03Too much!
07:04Too much!
07:13Sorry!
07:15Dad!
07:16Dad!
07:17Ah!
07:18Professor Zolinski!
07:19Can't you drop in and join us?
07:21Don't worry, this baby stops on a dime!
07:23Anybody got a dime?
07:25Okay, you hit it towards me!
07:27Hit it!
07:33Dad!
07:33You need some help?
07:35Dad!
07:37Is he all right?
07:39He's okay.
07:39He's back to normal.
07:40Size, anyway.
07:41Over here.
07:43You're not lying, Nick.
07:44Hold on.
07:44Gotta work out a couple of kinks in that thing, but otherwise it flies beautifully.
07:48Oh, uh, sorry for the delay, everybody.
07:51But strange things can happen when you're the size of a cocktail, weenie.
07:54Just ask my son, Nick.
07:55He'll tell you about it.
07:56Professor, maybe this isn't a good day to demonstrate the shrinking machine.
07:59Oh, nonsense.
08:00It's a great day for it.
08:01Now, what were we going to shrink?
08:03Bring out the family!
08:04The family?
08:05Oh, no, no, no.
08:06Just their luggage.
08:07You see, that's the amount of luggage that the average family takes on vacation.
08:10But now, with the help of my new, more powerful shrinking machine, all that luggage is going
08:15to fit right comfortably in the palm of my hand.
08:19Activation.
08:20Inception.
08:21Dad.
08:22Zelensky, what's going on?
08:23He's under control here.
08:24Are you sure?
08:25Don't worry.
08:25I just have to reach for this thing.
08:27We're trying to give a demonstration here, Zelensky.
08:29There's a switch over here that I'm having a hard time reaching.
08:32Just run it off.
08:32Which one?
08:33I'm going to do something else.
08:34The blue one.
08:35They're all blue.
08:36They are?
08:38Please make sure you have your safety goggles firmly secured on your forehead.
08:43Dr. Channing, look out!
08:55Don't just stand there.
08:56Get Zelensky.
08:57Yes, sir.
08:57It's okay.
08:58Don't worry, everybody.
08:59I've been through this before.
09:02Dad!
09:04Dad, we're down here!
09:07Everybody okay in there?
09:09Watch it, Dad.
09:10I'm down here.
09:12Oh, there you are, Nick.
09:14Sorry, everybody.
09:15The machine blew a fuse.
09:17I got some more in my office.
09:19I hope.
09:21Good luck.
09:26Wayne, thank goodness you're all right.
09:28Is everything okay?
09:29Honey, I shrunk the audience.
09:32You what?
09:34I'll be right back.
09:35Wait, wait!
09:36Where's Nick?
09:37Mom!
09:38Hey, Mom!
09:39I'm down here!
09:41I dropped my snake.
09:42I think he might be over there.
09:44Can you find him for me?
09:45What?
09:48She didn't land on anyone, did she?
09:50Mom!
09:52Don't worry.
09:52She'll be fine.
09:54Um, look.
09:55Just stay in your seats, ladies and gentlemen.
09:58And we'll blow you up as soon as possible.
10:00Hmm?
10:02You know what I mean.
10:03Hmm.
10:06Be careful with her.
10:07And don't drop her or anything.
10:09That's it.
10:10I think she'd be used to this by now.
10:11Put her down here.
10:12Put her down here.
10:14Uh-oh!
10:14Here comes trouble!
10:17Ooh, little people!
10:19All right, don't even think about it!
10:21Adam!
10:22You almost blinded us!
10:23What are you trying to do?
10:25You're a brat!
10:26You don't think!
10:27Bring yourself little people to mama.
10:29Adam!
10:30Adam, don't pick us up!
10:33Whoa!
10:34You're just losing him.
10:36Whoa!
10:37Whoa!
10:38Adam!
10:38Slow down!
10:40Whoa!
10:40Adam, put us there!
10:44Hey!
10:45Easy, Adam.
10:45Give him the theater!
10:46Easy!
10:47Give him the theater!
10:47Adam!
10:48Come on, Adam!
10:49Whoa!
10:50Hey!
10:50Hey, look, we're on TV!
10:52Whoa!
10:53Whoa!
10:53Adam, stop!
10:54Stop!
10:55Don't touch that!
10:55Stand still, Adam!
10:57Christy!
10:57Interesting!
10:58Go find Professor Zielinski!
11:00Get my dad!
11:01Adam, just watch where you're going, okay?
11:04Hi, Mom!
11:05Look what I got!
11:06Adam Zielinski, you put that theater back where you found it right now!
11:11March, young man!
11:12Listen, Adam!
11:13And for goodness sake, don't drop them!
11:15Adam, don't drop them!
11:16All right?
11:17Don't drop them!
11:17On second thoughts, Adam, maybe you should just give it to me!
11:21All right?
11:22Come on, Adam!
11:23Just give it to the theater!
11:25Oh, Adam!
11:26Thank you!
11:28Okay, okay!
11:30Just put it down gently!
11:31Look, what's that?
11:32Put it exactly where it was!
11:34Otherwise, the exits won't line up!
11:36Down!
11:38Good boy!
11:39Zielinski, have you fixed that thing yet?
11:44Last a little hole on him!
11:45Oh, no!
11:46Gigabyte!
11:49Don't make any sudden movements!
11:51I haven't fed him yet today!
11:55Help!
11:56Somebody!
11:57Down here!
11:58We're...
11:59You...
12:00Mom!
12:06It's in the bunker!
12:07Way to go, Quark!
12:16You know, Nicky, if these kind of things don't stop happening, no one is going to invite
12:20us anywhere!
12:21Mom, just tell Dad to hurry before one of those Disney sweeping people comes through!
12:25Okay.
12:28Come on, Adam!
12:32He's fixed it!
12:34See?
12:35I told you everything would be fine!
12:38Zielinski, this had better work, otherwise the Institute will be ruined!
12:42Think of all those tiny lawsuits!
12:46Hold on, everybody!
12:48Here we go!
12:59Way to go, Dad!
13:00Hey, little buddy!
13:02You did it, honey!
13:03Nick, you were so brave!
13:07So, it is with great pleasure that I present the Inventor of the Year Award to Professor
13:12Wayne Zielinski!
13:16Thank you!
13:17Thank you!
13:19Thank you very much!
13:20You know, when I began tinkering in my attic just a few years ago, I...
13:24Nick, I'm in the middle of my acceptance speech!
13:26You've got a big problem!
13:27How big?
13:28Humongous!
13:31Wayne, you didn't!
13:35Honey, I did!
13:38I blew up the dog!
13:40Awesome!
13:41Bring in the curtain!
13:43Bye, everybody!
13:44See you again, same time next year!
13:47With any luck!
13:49Stay, Quark!
13:49Bring that dog!
13:50Stay, boy!
13:52Hurry, call security!
13:53Quark, get over here!
13:55Watch out for his tail!
13:56Not there!
13:57It's crushing Institute poverty!
13:59Stay, Quark!
13:59No!
14:00Stay, stay, boy!
14:01Help!
14:01Call the SBCA!
14:03Call the SBCA!

14:04Come here, Quark!
14:05Come here!
14:05Come here, Quark!
14:06Come on, Quark!

14:12Bad boy, Quark!
14:13You know better than that!
14:14Give me this!
14:15Don't!
14:15Don't let him get near the cable!
14:23Don't let him get near the cable!
14:24Mr.
14:25Don't let him as well!
14:35Don't let him as well, man!
14:37Not there!
14:39Just go through with room...
14:39You mainly can't figure the police force out to control you the migrable!
