Aren't you a Christian empire that claims superiority? If you claim to follow Jesus Christ, why do you seek to dominate, control, and oppress other nations and people? Who gave you the authority to place yourself above others when the very Christ you claim to worship taught humility, love, mercy, and righteousness?

Trey Knowles challenges the hypocrisy of those who use Christianity as a symbol of power while rejecting the teachings of Jesus Christ through their actions.

Throughout history, empires have used religion to justify colonization, conquest, slavery, exploitation, and the belief that one civilization is superior to another. Christianity has sometimes been manipulated into a political instrument for establishing authority over people rather than serving them in love.

But did Jesus Christ teach imperial superiority? Did He command His followers to conquer nations for wealth, political influence, and economic control? Or did He teach them to love their neighbors, serve one another, and reject the temptation of worldly power?

Matthew 20:25–26 (KJV)

Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister.

Jesus rejected the idea that greatness comes through domination. True greatness comes through service.

The Contradiction of a Christian Empire

How can a nation proclaim itself Christian while believing it has the right to rule over other people?

How can an empire preach freedom while benefiting from systems of oppression?

How can a society speak of equality before God while maintaining structures of racial, economic, or cultural superiority?

How can leaders claim the authority of Jesus Christ while pursuing the wealth and power of the world?

These are the questions Trey Knowles places before those who confuse worldly power with divine righteousness.

John 18:36 (KJV)

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world.

The Kingdom of God is not an empire built through colonization, military conquest, or economic exploitation. It is a kingdom of righteousness, truth, justice, and peace.

Superiority Is Not the Gospel of Jesus Christ

No race, nationality, civilization, or empire has the divine right to consider itself inherently superior to another.

The teachings of Jesus Christ do not give political powers permission to oppress others in God's name.

Acts 10:34–35 (KJV)

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

If God shows no favoritism, why should an empire claim superiority?

If Jesus taught love, why do some who claim His name practice hatred?

If Jesus taught humility, why do political powers exalt themselves above other nations?

And if Jesus taught truth, why should Christianity be used to disguise injustice?

00:00So Christians in America, they lie. They're all liars. You can't believe
00:06nothing that they say. And so they say that we don't have to keep the
00:11commandments. We under a new covenant. We are under a new covenant in which they
00:16break, continue to break crucifying Jesus over and over and over again on the
00:22cross. Because they take advantage of his mercy. Taking advantage of his mercy.
00:31What kind of love do you have? Taking advantage of somebody's mercy that's
00:36saving you and you're gonna say, I'm under a new covenant. I'm not keeping the
00:40commandments. You don't keep the commandments of God. And if you say you
00:46do, we can look at your land. We can look at your children. We can look at your
00:49land. We can look at your land. We can look, actually, we can look at the world
00:54because you are superior, right? We can look at you and look at the world because
01:01you are superior. And I'm gonna continue to talk about you until you do right by
01:09God. Until you do right by God because you are in charge. You are in charge who
01:19called yourself Christian. So if you didn't call yourself Christian, I'm gonna
01:22have nothing to say. But because you are in charge and you call yourself
01:26Christian, I have something to say because that means you were influenced in
01:33the world with falsehood. If we're supposed to follow you because you said
01:38you Christian out your mouth and you're superior. And if we read the Bible, this does not match
01:47the character and the spirit of God. But you say that your country is Christian. You see?
01:58And your church says, well, we don't have to follow that. We don't follow those
02:02commands because we under a new covenant. Well, if you're under a new covenant, why do you take
02:10advantage of a person's grace and mercy by sinning and continue to sin? It's like you
02:19want to crucify somebody on the cross over and over and over and over and over and over again.
02:23Doesn't make sense? Doesn't make sense. Does that make sense?
