00:23Like still favorites in this game by about two and a half,

00:25And I would even argue like if this game was in Baltimore,
00:28they'd probably be five point favorites.

00:30if this is an opportunity for you to best a team that has gotten you how many
00:35times over these last couple of years.
00:37And I know that the Browns typically play these games very tight with the
00:40Ravens,
00:40but this is a window to win a game that you probably were not on the schedule
00:45looking at as a win.
00:46Like we were saying before the jets game,
00:48how crucial a win in that game would be so that you don't come out of Sunday
00:52at three and three,
00:53because we know what the Ravens are now with no Lamar Jackson,
00:56you have an opportunity to batten down the hatches on a Tyler Huntley offense.

01:03our offense can do,
01:04but you at least have confidence in your defense.

01:10not that good anymore.

01:22but there's also where the nerves come from is if the defense isn't able to

01:54they might be underdogs going into this game.

02:04no picks.
02:05It's a good game.
02:06And they win in overtime.

02:07he also has to lead a drive down the,

02:09the field at the end of the game,
02:11a with pressure on him.
02:12He's a backup.
02:14That's been in the league for a really long time.
02:15Like Tyler Huntley's not a pushover.
02:16He's not a bad quarterback.
02:18He's one of the more respectable backup quarterbacks in the NFL right now.
02:22And obviously he's been in that Baltimore system time and time again.
02:25And now even as the regime switches over,
02:27they're still like,

02:28Tyler Huntley makes a lot of sense.
02:29Let's keep them around.

02:32I'm nervous.
02:32Cause this is a game you once again should win.

03:12that's where I think people might have to reset their expectations or like
03:15get to the point where maybe we got a little bit over our skis through the

03:21Like the only thing that really scares me in this game is your ability to stop

03:26what gives me confidence about the Tyler Huntley side of things is that
03:29Bryce young looked like he was on track for an MVP through the first,
03:33it was two games.
03:34I get it.
03:34But like,
03:35he's also played well outside of that game.
03:36Like we saw him,
03:37I forget what prime time slot they were in,
03:39but he threw for a boatload of yards and had like 200 receiving yards and
03:43multiple touchdowns.
03:46If you can make Bryce young look like that,
03:47I trust that the secondary and the pass rush can find a way to handle Tyler
03:52Huntley for crying out loud.
03:53Derek Henry is a fear.
03:54Cause this team can't stop.
03:55Yeah.
03:56I mean,
03:56I think I would be able to line up right now away behind center and take a
03:59handoff and probably take it six yards.

04:01Like that's how bad they've been tackling.
04:03That's how bad they've been plugging run gap holes in like Tyler.
04:06Huntley is a guy who,
04:07especially as a part of the Ravens has kind of been that he's gotten the
04:11best of you.
04:11Like as much as they had success stopping him when he was in Tennessee and it
04:15was like,
04:15Derek Henry's got a big game against everybody except for the Cleveland
04:17Browns.
04:18Since he's been in Baltimore,
04:21four games against the Browns,
04:2211 carries for 73 yards,
04:2420 for one 38,
04:2511 for 23.
04:26When they actually did shut them down and then 18 for one Oh three.
04:29And he's got four touchdowns in those four games.
04:30Yeah.
04:31And you don't know like how healthy Michael Jr.
04:33Mason Graham are going to be.
04:34If they even play out,
04:36Michael's out and Mason Graham's questionable or Mason Graham,
04:39I think is.
04:40I think questionable for this game.
04:42He might be active for it,
04:43but I know he was back in practice today.
04:44Okay.
04:45So at the very least you're,
04:46you're without my call.
04:47And even if Mason Graham does play,
04:50he's going to be on a significant snap count.
04:52You saw how poorly that went at least early on in the jets game.
04:55And that was not Derek Henry.

04:59if you're a good team,
05:00good teams adjust and good teams figure out the weaknesses.

05:04if it means that you have to put eight in the box,

05:23bad weather and a weird Thursday night game,
05:26things like that.
05:27That's kind of where my anxiety comes from is I want to believe in this team.
05:32I want to believe that they're closer to nine and eight than they are,

05:35on my early season predictions.
05:37And a lot of other people were at like four and five wins.
05:40But I think a lot of questions get answered this game as to whether or not you can handle
05:45a team with a backup quarterback.

05:47I mean,

05:47you have to step in and do it.
05:48And obviously like a loss to Geno Smith probably enters a lot of those fears into this

05:53Cause it's not like Geno played fantastically throughout that game.

05:55it was a lot of the run game,
05:56a lot of crappy weather and Braylon Allen taking it for 116 yards.

06:03I don't just turn around in this game either and be like,

06:08Like I'm still trying to kind of figure out what the Browns are right now.

06:27You need a few games to figure this out.
06:28And I think this is even with Tyler Huntley playing in the game,

06:33like maybe not to how close am I to the Baltimore Ravens right now,
06:37but how close am I to a really good team with a backup quarterback in the game?

06:42if I can take care of business against that team,
06:44it kind of tells me the,

06:46you should kind of take care of business against the teams you should take care of business

06:49Like that's where this team is at.
06:50That's where they're coached to with Todd Munkin or,

06:53even the teams that are maybe you're not exactly supposed to take care of business against.

06:57We could win those games.

07:01maybe it's just because I'm not looking at it with a like overly optimistic guy and overly excited.

07:16Like the offense looks pretty healthy outside of what a Quinchon's questionable coming into this game.
07:20So terrible run game might be terrible.

07:27So it's going to be the same product.

07:29I can trust if the defense didn't show up and the offense looks good.

07:33I don't want to be three and three.
07:35I'd love to walk out of this game four and two,
07:36but at least I have a couple of answers on what this team might actually be,
07:39especially once they get closer to full health.

07:41I guess going into it,
07:42like before we knew that he was for sure out Lamar Jackson,
07:45it was the Ravens Lamar Jackson,
07:48this team that again,
07:49they played very closely because it's the divisional game.
07:52And Todd Munkins coming from that organization last year,
07:56he was there.
07:56So there's a lot of familiarity,
07:57but still it's,
07:59if you lose the game,
08:00you can never excuse it.
08:02And you got to watch it play out to see exactly how you lose it.
08:05But it's understandable.
08:06You're not where the Ravens are right now.
08:08Now you take him out and you have time to adjust to the fact that you're not
08:12going to have your top defensive ends at full strength.
08:16And you knew what that looked like last week against the run game.
08:19So it's a much better running back.
08:21Like,
08:21I think that you have a lot of evidence from that jets game that now you can use
08:25to be like,
08:26okay,
08:27this,
08:27this is an opportunity for us to prove,
08:29like you said,
08:30that we're supposed to win the games that we should win.
08:34And again,
08:35if it was just coming in with Lamar Jackson,
08:36that's not necessarily a game that we should win,
08:38but if they play above their skis,
08:39okay,
08:40yeah,
08:40then we can start to think real crazy.
08:42But if they lose a game like this and it doesn't look good again,
08:46then I do think it's a time to be like,
08:48okay,

08:48maybe those wins were a little bit of like extra luck,
08:51or it was just a fast start,

08:54But I still feel like at the end of the day,
08:56you come in with this team being better.
08:57And maybe a part of what,

08:58it calms my fears a little bit is the Tennessee Titans are right around the
09:01corner.
09:02And that team's 0 and 5 right now.
09:04They've played a couple of competitive games,
09:05but they've also gotten smoked in a couple of their games too.

09:09Cam Ward looks bad.
09:10That defense looks bad.
09:11That,
09:11that should be like a get right game where the Browns,
09:13like,
09:13maybe I'm nervous for that one.
09:15Cause that is a game that you can not lose,
09:16should not lose.
09:17And you have to win.

09:19I don't know.
09:20Like that walking around the corner,
09:21it's like,

09:21Browns might be five or,
09:22you know,
09:24and then you should be right back above it.

09:26we're back to the actual schedule where you have,

09:28the sealers waiting in the wings.
09:29You have the saints are on that schedule.
09:32The Texans are in that part of the schedule.
09:34Like those are some legitimate games that I have to be worried about.
09:37And I have to see how this team adjusts,
09:38but this is one where I don't know.
09:41I have confidence that they can pull this game out.
09:43And even if you lose it,
09:44it doesn't feel like it's maybe it's a little too over reactionary that fans
09:48are going to go to,
09:49or it's like,
09:49it's buried in this team isn't what we think they are like in six weeks and you
09:53won three games.
09:53It's a hell of a lot better of a team than you thought they were to begin

09:56I wouldn't immediately,
09:56if they were to lose the game,
09:58like I wouldn't immediately be though,
09:59this is the same bad team that I thought like,

10:02they're still so many more positive signs over even the first five weeks of
10:08the season that none of us thought were coming.

10:11as you mentioned with a terrible run game with Deshaun Watson,
10:15not really playing like at the beginning of the year,
10:17he was a 15 quarterback,
10:19the mid-level quarterback,
10:20and he's kind of tailed off a little bit since then.
10:23So it's not like you totally just re-rack your expectations to,
10:26this is a bottom of the barrel team,
10:28but it,
10:29again,
10:29this is just an opportunity to win a game that you feel like you should be
10:34able to win.

10:36you're underdogs,
10:37but it's,
10:38it's damn close.

10:41I feel a lot more confident going into a game that I shouldn't be.

11:06but you remove their pro bowl level quarterback.

11:09I think this is a prime opportunity also to steal a division game where
11:12they play with a healthy Lamar later in the season is going to be a
11:15whole lot harder of a game to take.

11:17And if you're talking about getting to like that seven,
11:20eight,
11:20nine to where,
11:21you know,
11:21you can tangibly look at the record and say,
11:23things are moving in the right direction.
11:25I think this is a perfect chance to not like you had the chance to win
11:30that jets game.
11:31You did like,
11:31it just sucks that you didn't.
11:32But now you have the opportunity,
11:34especially with that Titans game next week to stack two straight wins.
11:37Then all of a sudden you're what five,
11:39five and two going into the kind of the meat of your schedule.
