00:00¡Primos de nuevo!
00:30Seen one Hardy fall tonight.
00:32Will we see another?
00:33Because when we come back, ladies and gentlemen,
00:36the undefeated Vladimir Kozlov goes one-on-one
00:39with a new WWE Champion,
00:42Jeff Hardy.
00:49Welcome back, everybody, to Friday Night Smackdown
00:53here on My Network TV.
00:55Jim Ross and Taz back with you.
00:57The undefeated Russian awaiting the arrival of the new WWE Champion.
01:25The WWE Champion.
01:30The WWE Champion.
01:34Son of a rural North Carolina milcarrier.
01:38Su debut en la WWE.
01:40Conocada a 55 años y a 16 años.
01:44Jeff Hardy became the WWE campeón en una momentosa noche.
01:49Just 5 años atrás.
01:51Y ahora, se encuentra en el ring con un 6'6", 300 plus calcetado que nunca ha perdido.
02:06This match was made, we got to point that out, by Vickie Guerrero, our general manager.
02:11We heard Ed say at the top of the show, to Jeff Hardy.
02:14Hey, you know what? Independent to my relationship, I'm all right, Vickie.
02:18Okay, wait, wait.
02:20Vickie put Jeff Hardy in this ring right now with the Moscow Malt.
02:26Oh, man.
02:27It's a tough task, let out of the box for our new champion.
02:32A one-ball non-title match, our main event here tonight on Friday Night Smackdown.
02:37And Vladimir Kozlov was knee-deep in the WWE Championship's a hunt.
02:43Until Jeff's brother, Matt, intervened and they beat the pop challenge a few weeks ago here on Friday Night Smackdown.
02:53You know, people have tried to change Jeff Hardy his entire life.
02:56You've heard Jeff say that in the past, but Jeff stayed true to himself.
03:01And look at this, a stupendous achievement, the new WWE Champion.
03:08Jeff has always been a dead honest, a self-professed reject in his own words, as he said earlier tonight.
03:16And a good kind of crazy takedown by Vladimir Kozlov and Jeff Hardy, well aware of the mat wrestling skills
03:24and the destructive power of Vladimir Kozlov when he's got you on the canvas.
03:35This has got to be the run and gun of Jeff Hardy.
03:39That no-huddle offense against this ground-and-pound assault.
03:43Assault!
03:44You don't want a man with the accolades of Vladimir Kozlov behind you with his hands clapped.
03:50This is one threatening, aggressive individual in the Moscow Morgue.
03:57Already fighting out of the predicament as aggressively as he can.
04:01And that shot caught Kozlov right under his left eye.
04:09Well, that's the quickness there of the WWE Champion, of Jeff Hardy.
04:15Hardy quick in the pace, but ran smack into this 300-pounder.
04:21Hardy goes down, and then Kozlov, taking advantage of Kozlov, may have hurt his own shoulder, driving his arm into
04:28the carcass of Jeff Hardy.
04:31Well, it doesn't seem to be slowing down.
04:34And Vladimir Kozlov, the WWE Champion, tossed outside.
04:43Kozlov enraged.
04:45Just a frightening presence.
04:47This is Vladimir Kozlov standing near this man in person.
04:51It's not a fun experience.
04:52I've seen a lot of intimidating athletes here in the WWE in my tenure.
04:56I don't think I've ever seen anyone more intimidating than Kozlov.
05:00And Vladimir Kozlov found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
05:05How will this one end?
05:07We're going to find out when we come back.
05:12Come on, come on.
05:13Vladimir Kozlov now hammering away at the WWE Champion.
05:17We are back on Friday Night SmackDown.
05:19This is our main event.
05:20Oh, yeah, just a mauling, just mauling situation here with Kozlov on the WWE Champion.
05:27Look at the storming break.
05:28Watch this.
05:30Completely dropping Matt Hardy.
05:33That kick was right in the sternum where the battering ram head of Kozlov usually is placed.
05:39And now the ring post coming into play.
05:42The ring post certainly came into play earlier when Edge beat the ECW Champion, Matt Hardy.
05:49Now it seems as though Kozlov singling out the knee of Jeff Hardy.
05:55Cover, cover here.
05:57Which will definitely affect the aerial game of Hardy.
06:00Veteran referee Mike Keota found a two count.
06:02This is a one-fall, non-title matchup.
06:04The first time we're seeing Jeff Hardy here on Friday Night SmackDown in a main event.
06:09Since becoming WWE Champion just five days ago at an amazing Armageddon.
06:16They've got to give Jeff Hardy nothing but credit, man, and props.
06:20Put into this matchup here by Vicky Guerrero.
06:24Like a punishment type thing.
06:26And Jeff Hardy not backing down at all.
06:29And that's Kozlov in there, you know what I mean?
06:32Vicky Guerrero, the general manager of this program.
06:36The wife of Edge.
06:39A little bit of a conflict of interest, wouldn't you say?
06:43Wow.
06:45Hardy leaving his feet.
06:49Turned into a dangerous predicament.
06:51What a power slam.
06:53Look at this.
06:53And the cover.
06:54And the WWE Champion.
06:57Man, what would it mean to Vladimir Kozlov
07:01to beat the WWE Champion in the champ's first main event
07:05since winning the title?
07:07Nothing bigger than that.
07:09Nothing bigger than that.
07:10If you can defeat the WWE Champion anytime,
07:12that's gigantic.
07:14Awesome.
07:16This is a perfect application
07:18of an arm bar, it was.
07:20And then now it's assaulting the shoulder
07:22and that AC joint.
07:26Kozlov using his weight,
07:27his strength,
07:28and all of his leverage.
07:32Jeff Hardy, in his career,
07:34was able to overcome
07:35so many obstacles
07:36to become the WWE Champion.
07:38Right now, another obstacle
07:40for Moscow Mala.
07:43Jeff Hardy, no doubt,
07:44a very unique individual.
07:47But his uniqueness and his resilience,
07:50his ability to counter-wrestle,
07:53has got to come to the front here
07:55against a man that has yet to taste defeat
07:58in the WWE.
07:59And there's a battering rams.
08:02A massive skull.
08:05Beautiful belly-to-belly suplex.
08:07The cover,
08:09the champion's in trouble.
08:11You notice the talk in that suplex.
08:14Oh, man.
08:16There you pop the hips, dude.
08:17Kozlov expertly
08:19comes back with the cross faces.
08:21Nothing but power
08:22and just manhandling strength.
08:24And it's as if Kozlov now
08:25has hit his stride.
08:27His menacing destructive stride
08:31but maybe one step
08:32over the limit there
08:33as Hardy awarded it.
08:37Jeff Hardy putting his own body
08:39at risk.
08:41As you whisper in the wind.
08:43As usual, Hardy giving his
08:44maximum effort
08:45and effort moves on it.
08:48Hardy with a whisper to win.
08:50Taking down the ladder.
08:51Wait a minute.
08:52Drop the hat.
08:54Hardy hits a whisper to win.
08:56And here's Edge.
08:58And now we've got
08:59a two-on-one assault.
09:03One Hardy put down
09:05earlier tonight
09:06by Edge.
09:07And now look at this.
09:10Edge directing traffic.
09:15Edge, three shots
09:17on Jeff Hardy.
09:19Jeff Hardy's at the mercy
09:21of Kozlov and Edge.
09:22Jeff Hardy's defenseless.
09:25What?
09:27Jeff Hardy's at the mercy of two men.
09:28Triple H.
09:28Triple H.
09:30Triple H.
09:35It may be too late
09:37for Jeff Hardy.
09:39And now Edge has got a
09:39steel chair in hand.
09:44Kozlov has Hardy in a helpless state.
09:48The WWE champion is at the mercy of two men.
09:55Edge looking back.
10:04The game.
10:05It's time to play the game here.
10:07Edge leading with a weapon.
10:09Triple H will not retreat.
10:11Here we go.
10:11And the fight is on.
10:14Oh, my God.
10:17Oh, my God.
10:19And down those are rushing.
10:22Batting down the hatches.
10:24Oh, man.
10:25The game hammering.
10:27Vladimir Kozlov.
10:29And Kozlov arguably
10:30cost Triple H a WWE title
10:33and Armageddon.
10:35And now Kozlov is paying a price.
10:38Triple H had this
10:39triple threat match.
10:41What an Armageddon.
10:44Kozlov eating some steel ring post.
10:48Heads up.
10:49Heads up.
10:51And ahead of this massive Russian
10:54smacking to the announce table.
10:57Oh, my gosh.
10:58Oh, my gosh.
11:00A sledgehammer.
11:04Kozlov says,
11:05and the game's got that sledgehammer.
11:09That means business.
11:10I will assure you.
11:14Wait a minute.
11:15Wait a minute.
11:16Jeff Hardy.
11:17Hardy out.
11:17Hardy out.
11:18He's out.
11:18He's out.
11:19He's out.
11:21The WWE Champion
11:23giving Ed something to remember
11:25with that small torn bomb.
11:29What will Jeff Hardy do
11:31to retain the WWE title?
11:34He is now a month in.
11:36But that's another question is
11:37what will others do
11:39to regain
11:40the prestigious
11:42WWE Championship?
11:43Rocket?
11:44Becky Lynch.
