Ye Jianan, a single white-collar worker, has a maid named Li Huifang who lacks any sense of boundaries. Despite being a maid, Li Huifang acts arrogantly in the house—she indulges in expensive bird's nest that costs 2,000 yuan per jar, and even wears the necklace of Ye Jianan's late mother to attend social events. Fed up, Ye Jianan decides to fire Li Huifang.
