00:00The West Indies bounce back to beat India in the fourth T20 International in Hyderabad by 24 runs.
00:06Besides an unbeaten 102 from captain Shehope to take the Windies to 247 for three,
00:11Kimo Paul also had a good match with five wickets.
00:14After India got off to a flyer, Paul took two scalps in his first over to put the brakes on
00:19the home team.
00:20Well yes, I think they got off to quite a relic in start.
00:23You know, the power plays have been tough for us.
00:26We haven't been able to contain them.
00:27So coming in, obviously every team we have our game plans, you know, we sit and we discuss.
00:32We have some pretty long team bowling, bowling meetings, so I don't think we take that for granted.
00:39So I knew what I wanted to do. I knew what my field setting was and I know my plan.
00:43Obviously I won't share my plan, but I think I executed pretty well tonight.
00:47Teams bowling second usually have a problem because the ball becomes slippery.
00:51But Paul said there were no such issues in the match since there was no due.
00:56Whatever the case, the bowlers still had to execute properly in order to restrict the opposition.
01:02From the batsman perspective, after the first five overs, the message we got was it was a pretty good wicket.
01:08One, two balls were gripping, but other than that, it was pretty good.
01:11And bowling on the wicket, like I said, you know, the slow balls, it helped us here.
01:17You know, normally we weren't getting any grip or stuff on the other wickets, on the other grounds.
01:21But it actually worked here.
01:22So, you know, the game plan was just to stick bowling into the wicket as long as possible and try
01:26to execute our yards.
01:27Because when we know they're going grey guns, yeah.
01:30Bowlers in this series have suffered the most, whereas the batters keep enjoying themselves.
01:35As such, the 28-year-old speedster from Guyana wasn't too harsh on himself.
01:40You can't be too hard on yourself as a bowler on these tracks.
01:43You know, the margin for error is very, very thin.
01:45You know, it all comes down to execution again, like I said.
01:48So, it's just about one day at a time.
01:52It's all about process.
01:54And I mean, once you try to stick to the team plan as much as possible, I don't think the
01:58staff would have a problem.
01:59So, you know, you can't be too tough on yourself on these wickets, man.
02:03The Windies are hoping to create history in India by winning Saturday's final game in Bengaluru.
