A young university student, Iane Shinn, becomes pregnant with her boyfriend Joe Peyh’s child. But Joe Peyh is arrested and sentenced to death for allegedly offending a powerful commander. Desperate to save him, Iane Shinn sets out to beg the commander for mercy—unaware that Joe Peyh himself is the warlord in disguise.
It’s a bet that led Joe Peyh to pretend to be a poor student and toy with Iane Shinn.
