Among the three eggs of the Mother Beast, the last Alpha to hatch is nothing but a green slime with no fangs or claws. It is publicly denounced as a mistake and thrown into the Bone Pit of Ten Thousand Beasts. But it evolves by devouring prey—from venomous lizards to poison bears, growing stronger with every kill. In the pit, it meets a proud little dragon, Istia, who wins over her ‘Slime Brother’ with roasted meat and rubies.
