Avery Hess is a hardcore homebody and diehard fan whose daily life revolves around work and obsessively supporting her idol Owen Norman—voting, ranking, and spending over a million dollars on his behalf. She finally earns the chance to present flowers to Owen at a fan meeting, but when she steps on stage, he recoils in disgust at her weight, shoves her away, and she falls off the platform. In her final moments, the man she adored never even glances at her.
