Grand Princess Zandra Chu and General Sexton Pei loathed each other in their past lives. Yet when their city fell, Sexton shielded Zandra with his body, dying from arrows through his heart—all to beg for severance from her in the afterlife. Heartbroken, Zandra cast herself from the city tower to perish alongside her nation. Reborn, Zandra honored that vow and determined to leave him be with her younger sister, Shera Chu.
