00:00Tonight on this history-making edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
00:03Earlier tonight, Randy Orton won the largest battle royal in WWE history.
00:08Earning a world title match, Orton vows vengeance.
00:12Will the Viper capture the world title or suffer at the hands of the world's strongest man?
00:21Well, ladies and gentlemen, the renewal of a great rivalry here tonight.
00:25Randy Orton won the largest battle royal in history earlier tonight.
00:29And he decided to choose to face that man, Mark Henry, for the World Heavyweight Championship.
00:35Orton and Henry battle for the title tonight on Friday Night SmackDown.
00:43Well, I don't think these two superstars will ever be allies.
00:47Randy Orton vowed vengeance and a world title victory tonight.
00:51Mark Henry claims he'll never lose the world championship.
00:54Something has to give in our main event tonight.
01:00We've been talking about Sheamus throughout the night, but a topic of conversation all week long was the return of
01:05a giant.
01:06The Big Show returned to SmackDown after being on the shelf for nearly four months.
01:10And The Big Show was targeting the World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Henry.
01:17Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back, The Big Show.
01:26I can't tell you how good it feels to be back.
01:29The last four months has been brutal.
01:32The physical pain I can deal with.
01:34It was the emotional pain that kept me awake at night.
01:38Mark Henry, all the pain you caused me physically and emotionally, I'm going to repay you ten times over.
01:45I'm going to take from you what validates your entire career.
01:50So, Mark Henry, give me an opportunity to face you one-on-one for the World Heavyweight Championship.
02:05Big Show, you've been sitting at home doing nothing for four months.
02:11A vacation that I afforded you.
02:15I'll let you know about when and if you ever want to get a shot at this.
02:23If I don't hear an answer from you at the end of the night, I'm going to take you.
02:28I'm going to put you through that announcer table.
02:31I'm going to put a chair around your ankle.
02:33And I'm going to break your ankle.
02:35I want an answer, Mark.
02:38Let me get you up to speed real quick.
02:42The hall of pain is getting really, really crowded.
02:51You ask me for a shot at this World Heavyweight Championship.
02:57I say no.
03:02And here comes the giant.
03:05Big Show is all over.
03:08Mark Henry right now.
03:10Security trying to back off the world's largest athlete.
03:14My God!
03:18There are bodies screwed everywhere.
03:21Oh my goodness.
03:23Big Show's lost.
03:28Mark Henry, your momentum is a downhill roll.
03:34I am going to cause you physical pain.
03:37Big Show!
03:38I'm going to cause you the emotional pain.
03:41You've got your World Championship mask.
03:44But not if you do that.
03:47I am going to take the World Heavyweight Championship from you, Parker.
04:02The following contest is scheduled for one fall.
04:06And it is for the World Heavyweight Championship.
04:34You just saw the destruction of the big show delivered to Mark Henry last week here on SmackDown.
04:39But this past Monday night on Raw, a livid Henry explained he took the punishment from the big show and
04:46didn't miss a beat.
04:48Yeah, but it's got to be in Mark Henry's mind that he was manhandled like never before last week.
04:53How will he respond against the Viper, Randy Orton?
04:58Will Randy Orton get his vengeance and the World Championship?
05:02Or will Mark Henry induct Randy Orton into the Hall of Pain?
05:11And we welcome you back to Friday Night SmackDown.
05:14It is now time for our World Heavyweight Championship main event.
05:18The World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry, always ready to go.
05:50back to the championship match here tonight in just a little bit but the mic was always fully
05:54focused more on the task of him but what took place this past monday night is it weighing on
05:59the mind of the former world champion the venomous fight for randy i don't know how it can be we're
06:06going to take you back to monday night raw ladies and gentlemen as randy orton gets sent to take
06:10off mark henry and show you what happened cody rose upset that randy orton put a hole in his head
06:16with a ring bell a couple of weeks ago that nine staples were needed to close it look for payback
06:21and he got it after delivering the crossroads on orton cody rhodes would call for his patented paper
06:28bag and then he would offer the ultimate humiliation to the viper actually bagging randy or perhaps the
06:37most significant moment of the young career of cody rhodes so now the question is how will randy
06:44orton respond as he looked back at that footage here on the tight front in dallas will randy orton
06:50use it to drive him into this matchup against mark henry or will it be a distraction that could cause
06:57him an opportunity at the world title let me tell you something randy orton just went through 40 million
07:01earlier tonight randy orton is focused and willing for the tab tonight i'm gonna tell you mark henry better
07:08watch it's back the vipers randy man booker referring to how he kicked off this history-making
07:14edition of friday night smackdown the largest battle royal in wwe history 41 superstars won by
07:21the viper randy orton who selected to challenge mark henry for the world championship here tonight
07:26he could have took the easy way out he could have he could have went and called alberto del real
07:30but he called mark henry out that tells me something
07:34so randy orton who lost his world championship to mark henry back at night of champions in one of
07:39the biggest upsets that we can remember and then mark henry keeping the world title at hell in a cell
07:45with a victory over
07:46go back it up great great march back it up one two oh mark henry has gone on a record
07:52that took him 15
07:53years to win the championship as orton great great great strategy right there get get a little space
07:58right there randy don't get in tight with this monster and you know booker those little jabs too
08:02trying to uh play mental games with mark henry look at his right hand orton and he's sticking and
08:09moving against henry yeah much different strategy than we saw in the first two encounters so hard
08:16to read the emotion on the face of orton but he almost looked at disbelief that he didn't take
08:19henry down with a thunderous clothesline stick and move right now the randy orton that that's his
08:24strategy stick and move standing with a big man let me tell you what randy needs to do he needs
08:31to get
08:31mark henry oh man deep water you need to draw that big man in and draw him in and drown
08:38him
08:38randy orton was in complete control had the world's strongest man down to one knee
08:42but a huge shove by the world champion i mean that's where mark henry is so dangerous he's
08:48he's the world's strongest man that power can turn a match around in an instant 412 pounds
08:54you know what his range randy just kept moving right there still trying to just create a little bit of
08:59space that's something i talk about all the time you're right but again randy can ill afford to be
09:03outside the ring the referee's begun to count remember championship can only change hands
09:08be a pinfall or submission like a long one a count out doesn't help anybody
09:16two things happen but cool account would help mark henry of course it would it would help randy
09:21orton is what i was trying to make right and the other point is this randy orton with a history
09:26of
09:26shoulder injuries so mark henry is focusing on the shoulder and number two book you take out the shoulder
09:31it really takes away randy orton's inability to deliver an rkf and now mark henry cover here on
09:37the viper randy orton
09:41check this out right here that could be the beginning of the end right there that shoulder
09:46shot to the post that right there could be a uh a match ending spot for randy orton i'm telling
09:53you it could be open
09:54and get
09:54and get
