00:01Please tell me, what is the relevance to this agreement with the ARC?
00:08Well, so I oversee global workforce development on behalf of the semiconductor industry,
00:13and we need millions of people in this industry, especially about 2.6 million people.
00:18So part of this is working in partnership to develop talent to meet the needs of this industry on a
00:24global scale.
00:24And with growth happening in the Dominican Republic, the hope is that we can help partner to build programs,
00:31training programs and initiatives to get more and more people into this industry and to support the country.
00:36Do you think that the human capital is the most important to attract this invest?
00:44I absolutely do. I think building a workforce for our industry is one of the most critical pieces
00:49in terms of getting companies to invest in any part of the globe, 100%,
00:53because they need the people in order to run their programs, to run their companies, to run all of the
00:58work, right?
00:59So people become the most critical part of making this successful.
01:03Do you have an expectation of how much people can be training with this agreement?
01:09We are still working out exactly which partnerships we're going to be working on,
01:13so I don't have a number that I can state, I'm sorry.
01:15Okay. Do you have agreements similar with other countries?
01:18I do, yes. We just signed agreements in India, in Taiwan, we partner across Europe, across the Americas.
01:26I mean, we, yes.
01:28But this is a really exciting opportunity to look at Latin America to make an impact here and,
01:32well, not here, but you know what I mean, it's Dominican Republic and we're really excited about the opportunity.
01:37Okay. Thank you so much.
01:38Thank you.
