00:09My son and I had a private tour of Jerusalem on December 4, 2025 with Yariv of Israeli Guide
00:16Limited. This was our first time to Israel. Yariv brought the history of Jerusalem to life.
00:23We began our tour with Yariv timely picking us up at our hotel, the Inn Ball. He drove us in
00:30a
00:30comfortable vehicle to the Mount of Olives where we had beautiful view of the old city.
00:36Yariv provided us with an easy-to-understand overview of the city. He provided context to
00:42how the three major monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, came to and
00:49shaped Jerusalem. We then traveled to the city of David where we explored this archaeological site
00:55both above and below ground. We traveled through a tunnel where we encountered the western wall of
01:01the second temple. We then traveled above ground and around the walls of this ancient city.
01:07Throughout our exploring Yariv shared the significance of the walls and city within.
01:12We then prayed at the western wall. From there, Yariv brought us to the Temple Mount.
01:19We explored the Temple Mount in a respectful manner. We learned about the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aska
01:26Mosque.
01:27We then made our way through the Arab Quarter. We had amazing hummus and falafel at a local restaurant.
01:34From there we followed the path of Jesus. We stopped in at a Coptic church where we went to an
01:40underground cistern. From there we went to the Church of the Sepulcher. Yariv explained the complex
01:48relationship of the six Christian denominations that maintain the church. Truly a special experience.
01:55From there we toured the Jewish Quarter and shopped for keepsakes. The day ended with Yariv dropping us
02:02off at our hotel. Yariv brought the Old and New Testaments to life leaving my son and I with memories
02:09that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend Yariv and Israeli Guide Limited for this tour and cannot
02:16wait to tour the coast of Israel with his group on Sunday.
