the whole machine runs on a single sentence, and that's why it holds up.
Serena dies because Lila screams that she stole the Luna mark. One accusation, no evidence, and a pack that accepts it immediately.
Now watch the structure. The rebirth gives her no new power — it gives her information. She knows which sentence is coming, and who will believe it.
So the second life isn't a power fantasy. It's a study in refusing an old script. She never disproves the accusation — she makes it irrelevant by choosing someone the pack fears more than it fears her.
And the payoff isn't revenge on Lila. It's that her weapon never gets fired.
✨ What worked for me:
The first and last ten minutes mirror each other deliberately.
✨ Bottom line: a rebirth story with real discipline.
would you have gone back and fought, or left?

00:00:05In my last flight, I was branded a thief who stole the Lunar Mark.
00:00:08That was when Rowan worked.
00:00:09The wolves shamed me and shoved me into the mud.
00:00:12They laughed as they tore my clothes.
00:00:14They threw dirt onto my Lunar Mark.
00:00:16Then the wolf everyone called, ruined Rose from his chair.
00:00:19He was frail, but his wolf soul aura covered everything.
00:00:22Back to the present.
00:00:23I laid my hand over the Lunar Mark on my chest.
00:00:25The whole valley answered my Lunar Mark.
00:00:27Wolf howls rolled through it.
00:00:29Choosing Rowan wastes your choice.
00:00:31Pick another alpha.
00:00:32Pick a healthy wolf.
00:00:33Alpha, I have sworn before the moon goddess.
00:00:36I choose no one but Rowan Blackwood.
00:00:39Then it is settled.
00:00:41Rowan cannot speak for this bond, so Lunar Marion will set the mating ceremony.
00:00:45I kept my eyes off Adrien.
00:00:46His alpha aura swelled behind me.
00:00:48Led it.
00:00:49I had already buried that trace.
00:00:51In my last life, the pack ground me underfoot.
00:00:53Rowan was the one who ordered the guards back.
00:00:55He gave me the respect no one else would.
00:00:57This time, I would claim him first.
00:01:00And drag him back with me.
00:01:05On the day of the Luna Triumph, my sister Lila was afraid.
00:01:08She feared the sacred wolves in the Moondan and would not go in.
00:01:11She cried and begged me to bring back her Lunar Mark.
00:01:13The thorns made me bleed.
00:01:15The stones cut through my palms.
00:01:17Deep in the Moondan, the wolves drew back.
00:01:20The Lunar Mark rose on my chest and claimed me as its master.
00:01:24When I walked out of the Moondan, every wolf saw my Lunar Mark.
00:01:27Before I could explain, Lila slapped me.
00:01:29Serena is a liar and a thief.
00:01:32I am the chosen Luna.
00:01:34My mother shoved me to the ground.
00:01:36Why did you steal her Lunar Mark?
00:01:38My betrothed, Adrien Blackwood, the next alpha, stood at the front of the pack.
00:01:43His brow was tight, his face full of disgust.
00:01:46Serena, if you want to be Luna, why stoop to this?
00:01:49Lila fainted on the spot, and the Luna Trial was cut short.
00:01:53When she woke, she would not stop crying.
00:01:56Serena stole my Lunar Mark, and the Moond Goddess is turning on me!
00:02:00My place as Luna was never recognized, and the packs gave me no respect.
00:02:04Ranked she-worts spat at my feet.
00:02:06They tore my clothes, pointed at my Lunar Mark, and called me a shameless thief.
00:02:10Adrien only comforted Lila.
00:02:11I will give back the honor she stole from you.
00:02:16A week later, Adrien drove a silver knife into my chest with his own hand.
00:02:21The Lunar Mark was buried deep, tied to my flesh and my soul.
00:02:24Taking the mark meant taking my life.
00:02:26No matter how I begged, Adrien did not move.
00:02:29He tore the Lunar Mark out of my flesh, and burned it into Lila's chest.
00:02:32They threw me back into the Moonday.
00:02:34I lay on the cold stone with a bleeding hole in my chest.
00:02:37Lila took the Lunar Mark and chose Adrien as her alpha.
00:02:40The pack bowed to them.
00:02:41The alpha and Luna are restored!
00:02:46I was reborn.
00:02:48When I opened my eyes, the Moonday's stone door stood open before me.
00:02:52Lila clutched my sleeve and cried.
00:02:54Serena, I am so scared!
00:02:55Go and take the Lunar Mark out for me!
00:02:57Please!
00:02:58I smiled and pried her hand off, then made my request to Alpha Alaric Blackwood.
00:03:04Alpha, I, Serena, will enter the Lunar trial for myself.
00:03:11Outside the Moonday, everything went quiet.
00:03:13Only my voice carried through the valley.
00:03:15Alpha Alaric Blackwood stood at the front of the pack.
00:03:17So be it.
00:03:17The pack allows Serena to fight for herself.
00:03:20The Lunar Mark chose me again.
00:03:21It rose on my chest, in full view of everyone.
00:03:23Serena Vale is recognized by the Moon Goddess.
00:03:26She is Luna under pack law.
00:03:27Choose your alpha, Serena.
00:03:28He becomes your mate and shares the Lunar Mark's burden.
00:03:31Lila and my mother stared at me with hate.
00:03:33Adrien took two proud steps forward.
00:03:35I choose Rowan Blackwood.
00:03:37The wolf pack was in an uproar.
00:03:38I had refused my betrothed Adrien, the next alpha.
00:03:41Instead, I chose his uncle, the first black wolf.
00:03:44Rowan Blackwood was Alpha Alaric's brother, and the northern alpha of Ashbury pack.
00:03:47He was the fiercest wolf in the pack.
00:03:49He had destroyed countless rogues.
00:03:50A year ago, on the border front, a wolf's brain-coded dagger wounded Rowan Blackwood.
00:03:55The pack healers had already written him off.
00:03:57I had seen him rise before.
00:03:58In my last life, I was branded the thief who stole the Lunar Mark.
00:04:01That was when Rowan worked.
00:04:02The wolves shamed me and shoved me into the mud.
00:04:05They laughed as they tore my clothes.
00:04:07They threw dirt onto my Lunar Mark.
00:04:09Then the wolf everyone called, ruined, rose from his chair.
00:04:12He was frail, but his wolf soul aura covered everything.
00:04:15Back to the present.
00:04:16I laid my hand over the Lunar Mark on my chest.
00:04:19The whole valley answered my Lunar Mark.
00:04:20Wolf howls rolled through it.
00:04:22Choosing Rowan wastes your choice.
00:04:24Pick another alpha.
00:04:26Pick a healthy wolf.

00:04:36So Lunar Marion will set the mating ceremony.
00:04:38I kept my eyes off Adrian.
00:04:40His alpha aura swelled behind me.
00:04:42Let it.
00:04:42I had already buried that choice.
00:04:44In my last life, the pack ground me underfoot.
00:04:47Rowan was the one who ordered the guards back.
00:04:48How?
00:04:49He gave me the respect no one else would.
00:04:51This time, I would claim him first.
00:04:53And drag him back with me.
00:04:58For the next three days, I finally slept in peace.
00:05:01Then, a knock came at Vale House.
00:05:03Lunar Marion orders you to the Alpha Council compound tonight.
00:05:07At dusk, Madam Corvik led me along the Blackwood path.
00:05:10Then she stopped and bowed her head.
00:05:11Alpha Adrian.
00:05:12I looked up.
00:05:13It was Adrian.
00:05:14Adrian stepped into the light.
00:05:16He did carry the weight of a future Alpha King.
00:05:18He was strong and commanding.
00:05:20His muscled frame heavy with threat.
00:05:21He stared at the Lunar Mark on my chest.
00:05:23Then at my cold face.
00:05:25This ends here.
00:05:26Three years ago, Adrian fell to Wolfsbane and lay unconscious.
00:05:30My own blood saved him.
00:05:31When he woke, he held my hand and swore to protect me forever.
00:05:35But in my last life, I came out of the moon den covered in blood.
00:05:38Adrian only cared about Leela.
00:05:40Leela had fainted in our mother's arms.
00:05:42He passed me by and went to hold her first.
00:05:45Serena, you betrayed me and chose to be my uncle's mate.
00:05:48Do you feel no shame at all?
00:05:50Choosing an Alpha is the Lunar's right, granted by the Moon Goddess.
00:05:53But the pack knows you are no Luna.
00:05:55You were always less than Leela.
00:05:57You, the Moon Goddess, would never pick you.
00:05:59The Lunar Mark on my chest glows silver under the moon.
00:06:02This was a fact no one could shake.
00:06:03I was the true Luna.
00:06:05My uncle is a corpse rooted in Ashford pack.
00:06:07Choose him and you will never have a pup.
00:06:10Shut up!
00:06:10You have no right to curse my Alpha.
00:06:13The Lunar Mark flared and my Wolfsbane drained the color from Adrian's face.
00:06:16At the end of the pack, Luna Marion listened to us in silence.
00:06:19The ceremony was entered on the pack calendar for the following week.
00:06:22By the time I reached Ashford, black and red banners were already raised along the road.
00:06:25Gareth Thorne lowered his head before me.
00:06:27Luna Serena Vale, Ashford pack honors its Luna.
00:06:31Blackwood Pack House had never once met me with that kind of honor.
00:06:34A few Alpha families whispered that I had only won a widow's seat.
00:06:37Their whispers no longer mattered.
00:06:38The honor Blackwood Pack House denied me was waiting at Ashford's gate.
00:06:50On the day of the Luna Triumph, my sister Lila was afraid.

00:15:01Lila and my mother stared at me with hate.
00:15:03Adrian took two proud steps forward.
00:15:05I choose Rowan Blackwood.
00:15:07The wolf pack was in an uproar.
00:15:09I had refused my betrothed Adrian, the next Alpha.
00:15:11Instead, I chose his uncle, the first Black Wolf.
00:15:14Rowan Blackwood was Alpha Alaric's brother, and the northern Alpha of Ashtray pack.
00:15:17He was the fiercest wolf in the pack.
00:15:19He had destroyed countless rogues.
00:15:21A year ago, on the border front, a wolf's brain-coated dagger wounded Rowan Blackwood.
00:15:25The pack healers had already written him off.
00:15:27I had seen him rise before.
00:15:28In my last flight, I was branded the thief who stole the Rinnemar.
00:15:31That was when Rowan worked.
00:15:32The wolves shamed me and shoved me into the mud.
00:15:35They laughed as they tore my clothes.
00:15:37They threw dirt onto my Lunamark.
00:15:39Then the wolf everyone called, Ruined, rose from his chair.
00:15:42He was frail, but his wolf's soul aura covered everything.
00:15:45Back to the present.
00:15:46I laid my hand over the Lunamark on my chest.
00:15:49The whole valley answered my Lunamark.
00:15:51Wolf howls rolled through it.
00:15:52Choosing Rowan wastes your choice.
00:15:54Pick another Alpha.
00:15:56Pick a healthy wolf.
00:15:57Alpha, I have sworn before the Moon Goddess.
00:15:59I choose no one but Rowan Blackwood.
00:16:02Then it is settled.
00:16:04Rowan cannot speak for this bond, so Lunamarian will set the mating ceremony.
00:16:08I kept my eyes off Adrian.
00:16:10His Alpha aura swelled behind me.
00:16:12Led it.
00:16:12I had already buried that trace.
00:16:14In my last life, the pack ground me underfoot.
00:16:17Rowan was the one who ordered the guards back.
00:16:19He gave me the respect no one else would.
00:16:21This time, I would claim him first, and drag him back with me.
00:16:28For the next three days, I finally slept in peace.
00:16:31Then, a knock came at Vale House.
00:16:34Lunamarian orders you to the Alpha Council compound tonight.
00:16:37At dusk, Madam Corvik led me along the Blackwood path.
00:16:40Then she stopped and bowed her head.
00:16:42Alpha Adrian.
00:16:43I looked up.
00:16:43It was Adrian.
00:16:44Adrian stepped into the light.
00:16:46He did carry the weight of a future Alpha King.
00:16:48He was strong and commanding.
00:16:50His muscled frame heavy with threat.
00:16:52He stared at the Lunamark on my chest.
00:16:54Then at my cold face.
00:16:55This ends here.
00:16:56Three years ago, Adrian fell to Wolfsbane and lay unconscious.
00:17:00My own blood saved him.
00:17:01When he woke, he held my hand and swore to protect me forever.
00:17:05But in my last life, I came out of the Moonden covered in blood.
00:17:09Adrian only cared about Leela.
00:17:10Leela had fainted in our mother's arms.
00:17:12He passed me by and went to hold her first.
00:17:15Serena, you betrayed me and chose to be my uncle's mate.
00:17:18Do you feel no shame at all?
00:17:20Choosing an Alpha is the Lunar's right, granted by the Moon Goddess.
00:17:24But the pack knows you are no Luna.
00:17:26You were always less than Leela.
00:17:27You, the Moon Goddess, would never pick you.
00:17:29The Lunamark on my chest glows silver under the moon.
00:17:32This was a fact no one could shake.
00:17:34I was the true Luna.
00:17:35My uncle is a corpse rooted in Ashford Pack.
00:17:37Choose him and you will never have a pup.
00:17:40Shut up!
00:17:41You have no right to curse my Alpha.
00:17:43The Lunamark flared, and my wolf souls rained the color from Adrian's face.
00:17:46At the end of the pack, Luna Marion listened to us in silence.
00:17:49The ceremony was entered on the pack calendar for the following week.
00:17:52By the time I reached Ashford, black and red banners were already raised along the road.
00:17:56Gareth Thorne lowered his head before me.
00:17:58Luna Serena Vale.
00:17:59Ashford Pack honors its Luna.
00:18:01Blackwood Pack House had never once met me with that kind of honor.
00:18:04A few Alpha families whispered that I had only won a widow's seat.
00:18:07Their whispers no longer mattered.
00:18:08The honor Blackwood Pack House denied me, was waiting at Ashford's gate.
00:18:20On the day of the Luna Triumph, my sister Lila was afraid.
00:18:23She feared the sacred wolves in the Moonden and would not go in.
00:18:26She cried and begged me to bring back her Luna.
00:18:29The thorns made me bleed.
00:18:31The stones cut through my palms.
00:18:33Deep in the Moonden, the wolves drew back.
00:18:35The Luna Mark rose on my chest and claimed me as its master.
00:18:39When I walked out of the Moondale, every wolf saw my Luna Mark.
00:18:43Before I could explain, Lila slapped me.
00:18:45Serena is a liar and a thief.
00:18:47I am the chosen Luna!
00:18:49My mother shoved me to the ground.
00:18:51Why did you steal her Luna Mark?
00:18:53My betrothed, Adrian Blackwood, the next Alpha, stood at the front of the pack.
00:18:58His brow was tight, his face full of disgust.
00:19:01Serena, if you want to be Luna, why stoop to this?
00:19:04Lila fainted on the spot, and the Luna Trial was cut short.
00:19:08When she woke, she would not stop crying.
00:19:12Serena stole my Luna Mark, and the Moond Goddess is turning on me!
00:19:15My place as Luna was never recognized, and the pack gave me no respect.
00:19:19Ranked She-Words spat at my feet.
00:19:21They tore my clothes, pointed at my Luna Mark, and called me a shameless thief.
00:19:25Adrian only comforted Lila.
00:19:27I will give back the honor she stole from you.
00:19:31A week later, Adrian drove a silver knife into my chest with his own hand.
00:19:36The Luna Mark was buried deep, tied to my flesh and my soul.
00:19:39Taking the mark meant taking my life.
00:19:41No matter how I begged, Adrian did not move.
00:19:44He tore the Luna Mark out of my flesh, and burned it into Lila's chest.
00:19:47They threw me back into the Moonday.
00:19:49I lay on the cold stone with a bleeding hole in my chest.
00:19:52Lila took the Luna Mark and chose Adrian as her Alpha.
00:19:55The pack bowed to them.
00:19:56The Alpha and Luna are restored!
00:20:01I was reborn.
00:20:04When I opened my eyes, the Moonday's stone doors stood open before me.
00:20:07Lila clutched my sleeve and cried.
00:20:09Serena, I am so scared!
00:20:11Go and take the Luna Mark out for me!
00:20:13Please!
00:20:14I smiled and pried her hand off, then made my request to Alpha Alaric Blackwood.
00:20:19Alpha, I, Serena, will enter the Luna trial for myself.
00:20:26Outside the Moonday, everything went quiet.
00:20:28Only my voice carried through the valley.
00:20:30Alpha Alaric Blackwood stood at the front of the pack.
00:20:32So be it.
00:20:33The pack allows Serena to fight for herself.
00:20:35The Luna Mark chose me again.
00:20:36It rose on my chest, in full view of everyone.
00:20:39Serena Vale is recognized by the Moon Goddess.
00:20:41She is Luna under pack law.
00:20:43Choose your Alpha, Serena.
00:20:44He becomes your mate and shares the Luna Mark's burden.
00:20:46Lila and my mother stared at me with hate.
00:20:48Adrien took two proud steps forward.

00:21:16That was when Rowan worked.
00:21:18The wolves shamed me and shoved me into the mud.
00:21:20They laughed as they tore my clothes.

00:31:09Taking the mark meant taking my life.
00:31:11No matter how I begged, Adrian did not move.
00:31:14He tore the Luna mark out of my flesh and burned it into Lila's chest.
00:31:18They threw me back into the moonday.
00:31:19I lay on the cold stone with a bleeding hole in my chest.
00:31:22Lila took the Luna mark and chose Adrian as her alpha.
00:31:25The pack bowed to them.
00:31:26The alpha and Luna are restored!
00:31:32I was reborn.
00:31:34When I opened my eyes, the moondend stone doors stood open before me.
00:31:38Lila clutched my sleeve and cried.
00:31:39Serena, I am so scared!
00:31:41Go and take the Luna mark out for me!
00:31:43Please!
00:31:44I smiled and pried her hand off.
00:31:46Then made my request to Alpha Alaric Blackwood.
00:31:49Alpha, I, Serena, will enter the Luna trial for myself.
00:31:56Outside the moondend, everything went quiet.
00:31:58Only my voice carried through the valley.
00:32:00Alpha Alaric Blackwood stood at the front of the pack.
00:32:02So be it.
00:32:03The pack allows Serena to fight for herself.
00:32:05The Luna mark chose me again.
00:32:06It rose on my chest, in full view of everyone.
00:32:09Serena Vale is recognized by the moon goddess.
00:32:11She is Luna under pack law.
00:32:13Choose your alpha, Serena.
00:32:14He becomes your mate and shares the Luna mark's burden.
00:32:16Lila and my mother stared at me with hate.
00:32:18Adrien took two proud steps forward.
00:32:21I choose Rowan Blackwood.
00:32:22The wolf pack was in an uproar.
00:32:24I had refused my betrothed Adrien, the next alpha.
00:32:27Instead, I chose his uncle, the first black wolf.
00:32:29Rowan Blackwood was Alpha Alaric's brother, and the northern alpha of Ashtray Pack.
00:32:33He was the fiercest wolf in the pack.
00:32:34He had destroyed countless road packs.
00:32:36A year ago, on the border front, a wolf's vein-coated dagger wounded Rowan Blackwood.
00:32:40The pack healers had already written him off.
00:32:42I had seen him rise before.
00:32:44In my last flight, I was branded the thief.
00:32:46He stole the Luna mark.
00:32:47That was what Rowan worked.
00:32:48The wolves shamed me and shoved me into the mud.
00:32:51They laughed as they tore my clothes.
00:32:53They threw dirt onto my Luna mark.
00:32:55Then the wolf everyone called, ruined, rose from his chair.
00:32:58He was frail.
00:32:59But his wolf's soul aura covered everything.
00:33:01Back to the present.
00:33:02I laid my hand over the Luna mark on my chest.
00:33:04The whole valley answered my Luna mark.
00:33:06Wolf howls rolled through it.
00:33:07Choosing Rowan wastes your choice.
00:33:10Pick another alpha.
00:33:11Pick a healthy wolf.
00:33:12Alpha, I have sworn before the moon goddess.
00:33:15I choose no one but Rowan Blackwood.
00:33:18Then it is settled.
00:33:19Rowan cannot speak for this bond, so Luna Marion will set the mating ceremony.
00:33:24I kept my eyes off Adrian.
00:33:25His alpha aura swelled behind me.
00:33:27Let it.
00:33:28I had already buried that trace.
00:33:29In my last life, the pack ground me underfoot.
00:33:32Rowan was the one who ordered the guards back.
00:33:34He gave me the respect no one else would.
00:33:36This time, I would claim him first.
00:33:39And drag him back with me.
00:33:43For the next three days, I finally slept in peace.
00:33:47Then, a knock came at Vale House.
00:33:49Luna Marion orders you to the Alpha Council compound tonight.
00:33:52At dusk, Madam Corvik led me along the Blackwood path.
00:33:55Then she stopped and bowed her head.
00:33:57Alpha Adrian.
00:33:58I looked up.
00:33:59It was Adrian.
00:34:00Adrian stepped into the light.
00:34:01He did carry the weight of a future Alpha King.
00:34:03He was strong and commanding.
00:34:05His muscled frame heavy with threat.
00:34:07He stared at the Luna mark on my chest.
00:34:09Then at my cold face.
00:34:10This ends here.
00:34:12Three years ago, Adrian fell to Wolfsbane and lay unconscious.
00:34:15My own blood saved him.
00:34:17When he woke, he held my hand and swore to protect me forever.
00:34:20But in my last life, I came out of the moon den covered in blood.
00:34:24Adrian only cared about Leela.
00:34:26Leela had fainted in our mother's arms.
00:34:28He passed me by and went to hold her first.
00:34:30Serena, you betrayed me and chose to be my uncle's mate.
00:34:34Do you feel no shame at all?
00:34:35Choosing an Alpha is the Luna's right, granted by the moon goddess.
00:34:39But the pack knows you are no Luna.
00:34:41You were always less than Leela.
00:34:43You, the moon goddess, would never pick you.
00:34:44The Luna mark on my chest glows silver under the moon.
00:34:47This was a fact no one could shake.
00:34:49I was the true Luna.
00:34:50My uncle is a corpse rooted in Ashford Pack.
00:34:52Choose him, and you will never have a pup.
00:34:55Shut up!
00:34:56You have no right to curse my Alpha.
00:34:58The Luna mark flares, and my wolf songs rain the color from Adrian's face.
00:35:02At the end of the pack, Luna Marion listened to us in silence.
00:35:04The ceremony was entered on the pack calendar for the following week.
00:35:07By the time I reached Ashford, black and red banners were already raised along the road.
00:35:11Gareth Thorne lowered his head before me.
00:35:13Luna Serena Vale.
00:35:14Ashford Pack honors its Luna.
00:35:16Blackwood Pack house had never once met me with that kind of honor.
00:35:19A few Alpha families whispered that I had only won a widow's seat.
00:35:22Their whispers no longer mattered.
00:35:24The honor Blackwood Pack house denied me was waiting at Ashford's gate.
00:35:35On the day of the Luna trial, my sister Leela was afraid.
00:35:39She feared the sacred wolves in the moon den and would not go in.
00:35:42She cried and begged me to bring back her Luna.
00:35:44The thorns made me bleed.
00:35:46The stones cut through my palms.
00:35:48Deep in the moon den, the wolves drew back.
00:35:51The Luna mark rose on my chest and claimed me as its master.
00:35:55When I walked out of the moon den, every wolf saw my Luna mark.
00:35:58Before I could explain, Leela slapped me.
00:36:00Serena is a liar and a thief.
00:36:02I am the chosen Luna.
00:36:04My mother shoved me to the ground.
00:36:07Why did you steal her Luna mark?
00:36:08My betrothed, Adrian Blackwood, the next Alpha, stood at the front of the pack.
00:36:13His brow was tight, his face full of disgust.
00:36:16Serena, if you want to be Luna, why stoop to this?
00:36:20Leela fainted on the spot and the Luna trial was cut short.
00:36:24When she woke, she would not stop crying.
00:36:27Serena stole my Luna mark and the moon goddess is turning on me.
00:36:31My place as Luna was never recognized and the pack gave me no respect.
00:36:35Ranked She-Words spat in my fleet.
00:36:36They tore my clothes, pointed at my Luna mark and called me a shameless thief.
00:36:40Adrian only comforted Leela.
00:36:42I will give back the honor she stole from you.
00:36:46A week later, Adrian drove a silver knife into my chest with his own hand.
00:36:51The Luna mark was buried deep, tied to my flesh and my soul.

00:46:54The honor Blackwood Pack house denied me was waiting at Ashford's gate.
00:47:06On the day of the Luna trial, my sister Lila was afraid.
00:47:09She feared the sacred wolves in the moon den and would not go in.
00:47:12She cried and begged me to bring back her Luna.
00:47:14The thorns made me bleed.
00:47:16The stones cut through my palms.
00:47:18Deep in the moon den, the wolves drew back.
00:47:21The Luna mark rose on my chest and claimed me as its master.
00:47:25When I walked out of the moon den, every wolf saw my Luna mark.
00:47:28Before I could explain, Lila slapped me.
00:47:31Serena is a liar and a thief.
00:47:33I am the chosen Luna.
00:47:35My mother shoved me to the ground.
00:47:37Why did you steal her Luna mark?
00:47:39My betrothed, Adrian Blackwood, the next Alpha, stood at the front of the pack.
00:47:43His brow was tight, his face full of disgust.
00:47:47Serena, if you want to be Luna, why stoop to this?
00:47:50Lila fainted on the spot and the Luna trial was cut short.
00:47:54When she woke, she would not stop crying.
00:47:57Serena stole my Luna mark and the moon goddess is turning on me.
00:48:01My place as Luna was never recognized and the pack gave me no respect.
00:48:05Ranked she-holds spat on my feet.
00:48:06They tore my clothes, pointed at my Luna mark and called me a shameless thief.
00:48:11Adrian only comforted Lila.
00:48:12I will give back the honor she stole from you.
00:48:17A week later, Adrian drove a silver knife into my chest with his own hand.
00:48:21The Luna mark was buried deep, tied to my flesh and my soul.
00:48:24Taking the mark meant taking my life.
00:48:27No matter how I begged, Adrian did not move.
00:48:29He tore the Luna mark out of my flesh and burned it into Lila's chest.
00:48:33They threw me back into the moondang.
00:48:34I lay on the cold stone with a bleeding hole in my chest.
00:48:37Lila took the Luna mark and chose Adrian as her Alpha.
00:48:40The pack bowed to them.
00:48:42The Alpha and Luna are restored!
00:48:47I was reborn.
00:48:49When I opened my eyes, the moondang's stone doors stood open before me.
00:48:53Lila clutched my sleeve and cried.
00:48:54Serena, I am so scared!
00:48:56Go and take the Luna mark out for me!
00:48:58Please!
00:48:59I smiled and pried her hand off.
00:49:01Then made my request to Alpha Alaric Blackwood.
00:49:05Alpha, I, Serena, will enter the Luna trial for myself.
00:49:12Outside the moondang, everything went quiet.
00:49:14Only my voice carried through the valley.
00:49:15Alpha Alaric Blackwood stood at the front of the pack.
00:49:17So be it.
00:49:18The pack allows Serena to fight for herself.
00:49:20The Luna mark chose me again.
00:49:22It rose on my chest, in full view of everyone.
00:49:24Serena Vale is recognized by the moon goddess.
00:49:27She is Luna under pack law.
00:49:28Choose your Alpha, Serena.
00:49:29He becomes your mate and shares the Luna mark's burden.
00:49:32Lila and my mother stared at me with hate.
00:49:34Adrian took two proud steps forward.
00:49:36I choose Rowan Blackwood.
00:49:38The wolf pack was in an uproar.
00:49:39I had refused my betrothed Adrian, the next Alpha.
00:49:42Instead, I chose his uncle, the first black wolf.
00:49:45Rowan Blackwood was Alpha Alaric's brother, and the northern Alpha of Ashery Pack.
00:49:48He was the fiercest wolf in the pack.
00:49:50He had destroyed countless road paths.
00:49:51A year ago, on the border front, a wolf's vein-coated dagger wounded Rowan Blackwood.
00:49:55The pack healers had already written him off.
00:49:57I had seen him rise before.
00:49:59In my last flight, I was branded the thief who stole the Luna mark.
00:50:02That was when Rowan worked.
00:50:03The wolves shamed me and shoved me into the mud.
00:50:06They laughed as they tore my clothes.
00:50:08They threw dirt onto my Luna mark.
00:50:10Then the wolf everyone called, ruined, rose from his chair.
00:50:13He was frail, but his wolf's soul aura covered everything.
00:50:16Back to the present.
00:50:17I laid my hand over the Luna mark on my chest.
00:50:19The whole valley answered my Luna mark.
00:50:21Wolf howls rolled through it.
00:50:23Choosing Rowan wastes your choice.
00:50:25Pick another Alpha.
00:50:26Pick a healthy wolf.
00:50:27Alpha, I have sworn before the moon goddess.
00:50:30I choose no one but Rowan Blackwood.
00:50:33Then it is settled.
00:50:35Rowan cannot speak for this bond, so Luna Marion will set the mating ceremony.
00:50:39I kept my eyes off Adrian.
00:50:40His Alpha aura swelled behind me.
00:50:42Let it.
00:50:43I had already buried that trip.
00:50:45In my last life, the pack ground me underfoot.
00:50:47Rowan was the one who ordered the guards back.
00:50:49He gave me the respect no one else would.
00:50:52This time, I would claim him first.
00:50:54And drag him back with me.
00:50:59For the next three days, I finally slept in peace.
00:51:02Then, a knock came at Vale House.
00:51:04Luna Marion orders you to the Alpha Council compound tonight.
00:51:08At dusk, Madam Corvik led me along the Blackwood path.
00:51:11Then she stopped and bowed her head.
00:51:12Alpha Adrian.
00:51:13I looked up.
00:51:14It was Adrian.
00:51:15Adrian stepped into the light.
00:51:16He did carry the weight of a future Alpha King.
00:51:19He was strong and commanding.
00:51:20His muscled frame heavy with threat.
00:51:22He stared at the Luna mark on my chest.
00:51:24Then at my cold face.
00:51:26This ends here.
00:51:27Three years ago, Adrian fell to Wolfsbane and lay unconscious.
00:51:31My own blood saved him.
00:51:32When he woke, he held my hand and swore to protect me forever.
00:51:36But in my last life, I came out of the moon den covered in blood.
00:51:39Adrian only cared about Leela.
00:51:41Leela had fainted in our mother's arms.
00:51:43He passed me by and went to hold her first.
00:51:46Serena, you betrayed me and chose to be my uncle's mate.
00:51:49Do you feel no shame at all?
00:51:51Choosing an Alpha is the Luna's right.
00:51:53Granted by the Moon Goddess.
00:51:54But the pack knows you are no Luna.
00:51:56You were always less than Leela.
00:51:58You, the Moon Goddess, would never pick you.
00:52:00The Luna mark on my chest glows silver under the moon.
00:52:03This was a fact no one could shake.
00:52:04I was the true Luna.
00:52:05My uncle is a corpse rooted in Ashford pack.
00:52:08Choose him and you will never have a pup.
00:52:10Shut up!
00:52:11You have no right to curse my Alpha.
00:52:13The Luna mark flared and my Wolfsbane drained the color from Adrian's face.
00:52:17At the end of the pack, Luna Marion listened to us in silence.
00:52:19The ceremony was entered on the pack calendar for the following week.
00:52:22By the time I reached Ashford, black and red banners were already raised along the road.
00:52:26Gareth Thorne lowered his head before me.
00:52:28Luna Serena Vale, Ashford pack honors its Luna.
00:52:31Blackwood Pack House had never once met me with that kind of honor.
00:52:34A few Alpha families whispered that I had only won a widow's seat.
