I have one issue with how Roaming the World Untamed ends.
The setup is strong: disgraced second son, raised in secret by the last Dragon Speaker, proves himself against Aether, is betrayed by Zoramus, summons Aurelian, and returns to marry Isabel.
Clean. Complete. No loose threads.
But here's my complaint. Rian spends the whole run being dismissed by Duke Calder's house, and the ending gives them nothing. No reckoning. He just outranks them now and moves on.
I understand it. The point is he never needed their approval, and the restraint is deliberate.
Still — after everything they said, I wanted one scene of them sitting with it.
