00:00Hello from Dodger Stadium, where Shohei Ohtani will be playing tomorrow night in Game 3 of the National League Championship
00:06Series.
00:07Dave Roberts confirmed that news here on the Dodgers workout day as they face a 2-0 hole in the
00:12NLCS.
00:13There had been rampant speculation about Ohtani potentially being dropped from the lineup as he continues to battle left knee
00:19and right arm injuries.
00:20Coming off a pretty ugly 0-4 performance in the team's Game 2 loss back in Milwaukee.
00:26However, Dave Roberts said that he, Andrew Friedman, Brandon Gomes all met with Ohtani today to make sure that he
00:32still felt like he could help the team.
00:34And Roberts said the answer Ohtani gave was resounding, that he feels like he can make an impact as the
00:38Dodgers try to overturn a 2-0 deficit in the NLCS.
00:41I did talk to Sho, had a great conversation. He's adamant. He feels good enough to be in there.
00:47He's close to finding something with his swing, and I feel great about it.
00:52So, yeah, he wants to be in there and help us win a ballgame and win a championship.
00:57So, great conversation, and I'm excited about having him in there.
01:00It's still unclear exactly where Ohtani will hit in the order, and if his swing will be as good as
01:05he hopes it will be going into Game 3.
01:07In the meantime, catch up with all our coverage at CaliforniaPost.com,
