00:00That's a message from the Commonwealth.
00:02We're almost underway in a massive week in South American football.
00:06Semi-finals upon us.
00:08It starts here at La Bombonera.
00:11We're underway, Boca Juniors against Vasco de Gama in the Commonwealth Sudamericana.
00:15And a pleasure to be bringing you this one.
00:19Certainly where we've seen Lescano shine in Argentine football for Argentinos Juniors.
00:24And Kim Nassi before that chance here!
00:25And it's the first goal!
00:26Adson with the header.
00:28Vasco de Gama strike early.
00:31In the first half of the first leg.
00:35And Boca will need to come from behind.
00:39It's a super header from Adson.
00:41The key man for Vasco de Gama on this run to the semi-finals.
00:46And the man who gives them the lead.
00:49With that, the half-time whistle does indeed blow.
00:54The teams will make their way off.
00:55And Rodolfo Herrera already.
01:00So we are back underway.
01:03Boca Juniors nil.
01:05Vasco de Gama won.
01:06It's now getting ready to make their first changes.
01:10The yellow card has been shown.
01:12And it's going to be a red card here.
01:14My oh my!
01:16What a moment!
01:16Andres Gomez has just been shown two yellow cards in the space of seconds by the referee.
01:25Which he may feel it is.
01:26Here he is.
01:29Preventing Boca from taking the innocuous free kick early.
01:35Asking for the whistle as he gets involved with De Lolo.
01:38Yellow cards out.
01:41And then having done that puts hands on Piero Massa.
01:44Gives him a little push there.
01:45And that is exactly why he's getting that second yellow card.
01:48It's lunacy really from Andres Gomez.
01:51As I say, however, he may want to look at it and say it's harsh.
01:55He's seen the yellow card initially come out.
01:57Thank God.
01:58Space to run into.
01:59Goes for goal.
02:00And a drilled low effort.
02:03That skips off the surface.
02:06Not far wide of the post.
02:10Puma Rodriguez it is.
02:12From behind.
02:14Sticks out the leg and prevents Valencia from turning in.
02:17From just a few yards out.
02:18The full time whistle is gone.
02:20And it ends here at La Pombanera.
02:22That Boca Juniors nil.
02:26Vasco da Gama won.
02:28The Brazilians heading back with an advantage.
02:33And what a result this is for the Brazilian side.
02:35Vasco da Gama have come to one of the most intimidating stadiums
02:39in South American football.
02:41And he walked away with a massive victory
02:43in the first leg of the Commonwealth Sudamericana semifinal.
02:45For Boca Juniors, well, there's a bitterly disappointing evening.
02:49And then...

02:56o
02:57o
