00:00It might be one of the UK's most beautiful landscapes, but it's also one of the most unforgiving places to
00:06make a living from the land.
00:08One person who's trying to do just that is 34-year-old Frank Carr, who's taken on a huge amount
00:15of debt in a bid to make a future in farming here pay.
00:24Hi, Frank.
00:26Hi there.
00:27Good to see you.
00:28By word, what a spot you live.
00:30Oh, yeah, it's quite nice, isn't it?
00:31It's unbelievable.
00:33How big is the farm?
00:34We're roughly about 2,000 acres owned, and then we rent parcels as well.
00:38Yeah, so a good unit of land.
00:39Yes, oh, yeah, yeah.
00:40And how many sheep?
00:41So this time of year it's very hard to calculate with all the lambs, but we have a breeding flock
00:47of about 1,400.
00:48There's still a few more to land outside yet, so shall we go for a drive-in?
00:51Yeah, let's get in the buggy and get out of the wind.
00:53Oh, yea.
00:53Yeah.
00:53Yeah.
00:53Yeah.
00:54That's pretty cool.
00:54Yeah.
00:54Yeah.
