This is a story about rank, and the sisters make one fatal mistake.
The sacred armor isn't decoration. It marks standing in the pack — proof of service and earned position. Stripping it from Caine and handing it to Seth is an attempt to transfer legitimacy.
And it doesn't work. Because the armor was never what gave Caine his authority.
He's a warrior with ten years behind him. The pack has watched him protect that family without complaint. You can take a man's armor, but not what he's proven.
Then his ascension ceremony arrives, and the room must choose between a symbol and a person.
That's when everyone realizes what they discarded.
✨ What worked for me:
Watch how the pack reacts when the armor changes hands.
Nobody in the family understands what they've done.
✨ Bottom line: the clearest lesson about real authority I've watched.
does armor make the man? 🐺
