00:00I think I'd prefer the jury because with the jury it's they haven't got all the legal training
00:06so they're basically just doing off the details they've just gotten and they can't take the notes
00:12and they can't do any of that they're just it's based off what they're learning in the second
00:17and making notes on and keeping and going over at the end stuff like that. I understand why they
00:23were doing it because there was such a backlog yeah so to quicken things up yeah I'm sure there
00:28could be a quicker way but I agree with you Sarah I think it's worked pretty well yeah not that
00:35that
00:35goes for everything but I think I would rather have a jury. I reckon 12 ordinary people yeah because
00:42then it's not so cutthroat it's not all down to like one person hey yeah we'll have some empathy yeah
00:48maybe there'll be one empathetic. Whereas a judge they're just they can take their work home they
00:55can they have longer to think about they've got all the legal knowledge and everything so they are
01:00usually quite a lot more biased towards whoever's presenting the better legal point which is very
01:07unfortunate which is why if I was ever actually on trial and not just as the lawyer I'd want the
01:14jury
01:14room because they're more likely to be less biased. I actually well I mean it's easier for you to sway
01:22people's opinions I guess if you're debating as a group yeah and it'll just be like majority take over
01:27but yeah yeah I guess.
