When he had an episode at the bar, Chelsea stumbled over to him, and under the influence of alcohol, they had a one-night stand. When Monroe woke up, he found his condition strangely improving, realizing Chelsea could help with his recovery. He didn't see Chelsea's face clearly and only saw her fallen jade pendant. So, he sent his assistant to locate the pendant's owner.
