Mr Tin Man enters a smoke-filled jazz club in this orchestral jazz-blues reimagining of Miranda Lambert’s song, performed by Deanna Stafford.
Inside, a heartbroken jazz singer offers her heart—scars and all—to a chrome man who never wanted one. Their surreal midnight encounter unfolds in a dark, cinematic world of orchestral drama and impossible reflections.
She offers him her broken heart in exchange for the armour that has spared him from ever feeling one break.
Originally written by Miranda Lambert, Jack Ingram and Jon Randall.
New arrangement and visual production by Steve Walker for Quiet Ghost Music.
Performed by Deanna Stafford.
This is the sound the Wizard never found.
About Quiet Ghost Music
Hello, friend. I'm Steve. I write and produce original story songs and music videos across Americana, Outlaw Country, Celtic folk, jazz, blues, comedy and just about anything else that takes my fancy.
I don't stick to one musical lane. The story comes first, and the music becomes whatever that story needs. Every project begins with a human-written idea, story and lyrics, with today's technology helping bring them to life.
Quiet Ghost Music — Every song is a story, and every story has a song.
Story songs for people who still listen to the words.
