00:10Unexpectedly, shocking news broke on this day.
00:14Anita Mui's ashes are suspected of being stolen.
00:17Moreover, the theft occurred more than three months ago and the whereabouts are still unknown.
00:21This exciting news comes from Anita Mui's International Fan Club.
00:27The fan club revealed that some fans went to Haihuitabai on July 18th this year.
00:31When I entered Anita Mui's house, I found
00:33The screws on the doorplate for storing ashes were loose.
00:37Then they discovered that the urn containing ashes had also disappeared.
00:40So the fan club quickly learned about Anita Mui's family.
00:43The family immediately called the police.
00:46But there's still no news.
00:49In order to find Anita Mui's ashes as soon as possible
00:51Anita Mui International Fan Club appeals to local residents
00:54If during the period from January to July this year
00:57Have ever witnessed any suspicious persons?
00:59Or it may be discovered that someone is carrying urns or other related containers.
01:02We hope you can provide clues.
01:04Including relevant dashcam footage
01:07Let's work together to help Sister Mui return home as soon as possible.
01:10After news spread that Anita Mui's stock was suspected of being stolen
01:13Hong Kong police also gave a brief response to the media.
01:16The case was taken seriously after Huo reported it in July of this year.
01:19The case has been handed over to the Major Crimes Unit for further investigation.
01:23No one has been arrested yet.
01:25But according to what I understand...
01:26Anita Mui's family has not received any extortion calls to date.
01:30Anita Mui's brother, Mui Kai-ming
01:32He revealed in a media interview
01:34The last time he went to visit his sister
01:37It happened in July of last year.
01:39At the time, nothing seemed different.
01:41Until recently
01:42He received inquiries from media friends.
01:44Go ask him
01:45Your sister's ashes have gone missing.
01:47Do you know?
01:48Only then did Mei Qiming explain how his ashes had been stolen.
01:52He himself was also very shocked.
01:54Media description
01:55Mei Qiming was emotionally agitated
01:57He glared at him.
01:58The person who stole my sister's ashes
02:00Even worse off than himself
02:01In order to find her sister's ashes as soon as possible
02:04He offered a reward of HK$50,000.
02:06Approximately RM26,000
02:08Seeking relevant clues
02:09I hope my sister's ashes can be recovered intact.
02:12But then again
02:13After Anita Mui's death
02:15His family wanted him to rest in peace.
02:17His ashes were placed in the Haihui Pagoda on Dayushan Mountain.
02:21His publication layout was quite understated.
02:24Not only was there no portrait of the deceased displayed, but it was also not displayed.
02:26His real name was not engraved.
02:27Instead, he used his childhood name.
02:29The women as markers
02:31Because the publication position is not very obvious.
02:33This has led to questions from the outside world.
02:35If you are not familiar with the internal environment
02:37Or have relevant information
02:38It would be difficult for the average person to accurately find it.
02:41This is where the ashes are stored.
02:43This adds a touch of mystery to the case.
02:47How exactly did the people involved find the publication space?
02:50And what was the motivation?
02:52What is the purpose?
02:53Further investigation is needed.
02:55As the case came to light...
02:57What about the outside world now?
02:58The motives of those involved in the crime have also begun to be investigated.
03:01Propose various possibilities
03:03One of the speculations is
03:05In order to extort money
03:07Or through disappearances
03:09Emotional blackmail against family members
03:11But after understanding the family members until now
03:14We haven't received any extortion calls yet.
03:16Another possibility is...
03:17Extreme fan mentality
03:20Some people guessed
03:22The person involved may have a strong possessive desire.
03:24Delusional attempt to steal ashes
03:27To achieve the goal of possessing him forever
03:30Of course, some people have made speculations about it.
03:31This incident may involve malicious retaliation.
03:34Or to gain attention
03:35Creating social panic
03:36As for the speculations...
03:39Religious superstition
03:40Or it could be a special ceremony or something similar.
03:42It has actually already been listed as one of the possibilities.
03:44certainly
03:46The above are the points we have mentioned.
03:47Perhaps it's speculation from the outside world about the motive for the crime.
03:50The actual reason is as just mentioned.
03:52Further investigation and clarification by the Hong Kong police are needed.
