00:00An old man casually handed a stray dog a rice ball, never imagining it would decide he was
00:04its owner. As he left the supermarket, he accidentally dropped his suitcase, and while
00:07he bent down to pick it up, the little dog slipped inside. The old man was completely unaware of this.
00:12It was not until he returned home and opened the box. He discovered the dog had actually
00:15followed him back. Back then, he didn't know this puppy was a gift from above. The next day at
00:19work,
00:20he learned the company was putting him into retirement. Only then did it hit him that he
00:23had spent his whole life running himself ragged for the company, and all he had to show for it
00:27was a polite send-off. Feeling lost and empty, he passed his days fishing. The puppy seemed to
00:31sense his sadness. It would always frolic happily around him, doing its utmost to cheer him up.
00:35Watching the little dog's lively and adorable antics, the old man felt his worries slowly fade.
00:39He pulled out his phone to capture the moment, only to find the storage was completely full
00:43of work photos. After a moment of hesitation, he deleted every work file, as if saying goodbye
00:47to his old life for good. From then on, he treated the puppy like family, and even took it into
00:51the
00:52bathroom when he showered. As the days went by, the puppy's mischievous side came out. It
00:56loved
00:56chewing on his slippers, and sometimes even peed on the bed. But the old man never scolded it.
01:00He just quietly cleaned up. However, the day he had to return to his home country was drawing closer.
01:04He couldn't stop worrying about the dog, so he began looking for a new owner he could trust.
01:08Everyone at the company loved the dog, but after a week of searching, he still hadn't found a
01:12suitable candidate. Just when he didn't know what to do, a gentle young woman showed up. Even though
01:16the dog caused plenty of trouble at her place, she stayed patient and trained it with care. That
01:20attitude finally won the old man's approval. But at the handoff, one look into the dog's eyes
01:24and
01:24just couldn't let go. He decided to spend a few more days with the puppy. Later, he took the
01:28dog
01:28out to sea for one last trip, but when he turned around, the dog was gone. Thinking it had fallen
01:32overboard, he jumped into the water without a second thought to look for it. Just then,
01:35his companion found the dog hiding under the lid of a box. It turned out that it had already sens
01:39ed
01:39their impending separation. But the old man had to go home, and with a heavy heart, he had no
01:43choice
01:44but to leave the dog with the young woman. On the day they said goodbye, he didn't even have
01:47the
01:47courage to look back, afraid he wouldn't be able to leave. The day before his departure,
01:51the company threw him a farewell party. Out of habit, he took out his phone to record the moment,
01:54but the screen showed a storage full warning. His phone was packed with photos of the dog.
01:58He couldn't bear to delete a single one, so he just pretended to take pictures and quietly accepted
02:02everyone's goodbyes. On the way to the airport, the old man made a detour to the
02:06young woman's place.
02:07When he saw her taking good care of the dog, he finally felt at ease. But just as he was
02:10about to
02:11leave, the dog caught his scent and chased after his car with everything it had. In that moment,
02:15the old man finally understood that. The dog had never forgotten him through all those days apart.
02:19Watching the dog run desperately after him, he made a decision that surprised everyone. He gave
02:23up going home and stayed for the little dog because it had helped him find the love and
02:26companionship he'd forgotten long ago. Would you like to have a dog like this? Tell us in the
