00:00I want to see Jonathan Bailey in every universe.
00:04Hi, I'm Lucy. Lovely to see you. This film's amazing.
00:07It's all about the American dream and how it can go spectacularly wrong.
00:09How has your success, idea of success, changed as you've got older?
00:14How has my idea of success changed as I've gotten older?
00:21That's an interesting question.
00:23I think I...
00:27I think my idea...
00:28Success to me has become more personal, I think, as I've gotten older.
00:32I think when I was younger, my idea of success potentially had more to do with how I was reflecting
00:39out into the world
00:41and comparing myself to others.
00:44And you spend more time, I think, looking out as a young person
00:47and trying to take sort of cues from your surroundings to understand what success is.
00:54And I think as I've gotten older, I see it more as something that's a personal journey
00:59and not something that can be defined by what's happening outside.
01:04Exactly. And Adam was on this.
01:05You obviously know him from a previous amazing marriage story.
01:08Was it like going home, seeing him again?
01:12Yeah, I think in a way, yeah, it was.
01:15I mean, we have shared such intimate work together that, you know,
01:20just coming back together and doing more intimate work feels lived in in a great way.
01:27Yeah, and your character really shows the fragility of life.
01:29Did you come away with anything after this character?
01:33What did I come away with after playing this character?
01:37I think, you know, the character is really someone who is, I think, really selfless
01:45and is, you know, someone who, I think, it gave me an opportunity to reflect on a woman's condition
01:56and the sacrifices that we made.
02:00And, you know, it's just an interesting, you know, it's a kind of interesting reminder to spend time in that
02:07place.
02:08Live your life, yeah. You're amazing. Thank you so much.
02:10I hope you get all your awards.
02:12I really love my job.
02:15I'm really lucky that way. I love my job.
02:18I understand my job, I think, the more I do it.
02:22And I have such a deep appreciation for all the creatives that come together to make, you know,
02:28a film, a play, a photograph, all of those things.
02:32I mean, all that medium of entertainment, art, those ways.
02:35I just really enjoy the collaborative process so much.
02:39Yeah, of course.
02:40Obviously, I'm a big Marvel fan.
02:41I had to ask Avengers.
02:42It's just become, or Avengers and Avengers has become the highest-person movie of all time.
02:46What's your reaction to that? Did you notice?
02:48No, but I think, I mean, it's, you know, I think it's a fantastic film, you know.
02:54I remember when it, you know, seeing it for the first time, I was so amazed at how emotional it
03:01was
03:01and that you could have such a deeply, you know, it took all the history that we've had with those
03:07characters
03:07that we've had for a decade of time and really, you know, I think delivered it in a way for
03:14fans
03:14that was, like, very profound.
03:18And also, it looks amazing.
03:20It's like a movie that shouldn't work, but it somehow works.
03:22And I mean, I'm glad that audiences still enjoy it as much as they do
03:27because it's a great film and I loved making it.
03:29Cinematic experience, actually.
03:31And just very quickly, Alan Snow joined the MCU.
03:33Could we see all the previous films like maybe Jonathan Bailey?
03:35Oh, cute!
03:36I would love that.
03:37I want to see Jonathan Bailey in every universe.
03:39Yeah.
