00:00Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has criticized what he calls gifts to Putin after
00:06Washington announced a new deal to buy Russian diesel. Donald Trump said on Friday that Russian
00:13President Vladimir Putin had agreed to release diesel into American and global markets. The
00:20US president said the move would help ease soaring energy costs during the war with Iran.
00:26He said Moscow would immediately supply more than 300,000 tons of diesel with another 500,000
00:34promised during November. Responding on X, Zelensky said gifts to Putin will not bring
00:40peace or any benefit to the civilized world and argued that letting Russia sell petroleum
00:46products is an investment in a war that must be ended, not prolonged. The White House has not
00:52said who will pay for the fuel or when supplies will become available.
