00:12organisation's role in shaping a multipolar world. The agenda covered more than 15 issues including
00:19economic integration, transport connectivity, social development, humanitarian cooperation
00:25and the Commonwealth's future role in international affairs. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko
00:32emphasised that the CIS should contribute to the development of a multipolar international
00:37system alongside BRICS, the S.S.C.O. and the African Union. Iranian President Masoud Pesherskyan
00:44proposed a new CIS plus one format seeking closer trade and regional cooperation between
00:51Iran and the bloc. Uzbekistan is set to assume the CIS chairmanship on January 1st, 2027.
01:05Today, we need genuine multilateralism in our region more than ever. The countries of this
01:12important and strategic region must be among the principal actors shaping a multipolar world.
01:18From this perspective, regional diplomacy, for us, is not merely about holding meetings.
01:24It must become a tool for crisis management, maintaining communication, preventing the escalation
01:31of conflicts and activating practical cooperation. This is the very approach that we pursue within
01:38the framework of the Islamic Republic of Iran's neighborhood party.
