00:48Speaking to Fandango, Joe and Anthony Russo called Doomsday a very surprising movie with
00:54a very surprising ending, and then said nothing more.
00:57Kevin Feige has teased the same thing, and ending fans will find both satisfying and
01:02surprising.
01:03That's it.
01:04That's the confirmed part.
01:06Everything past this point is rumor, leak, or theory, and I'll tell you which is which
01:11as we go.
01:12Now, to understand why that word surprising matters, you need to know how this movie got
01:18here.
01:19Doomsday was originally scheduled for May 1, 2026.
01:24Marvel pushed it to December 18, 2026 to give the filmmakers more time.
01:29Before that, the studio announced the return of the Russo brothers, the directors behind
01:34Infinity War and Endgame.
01:36It also announced Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, a casting decision nobody saw coming in
01:422024.
01:43And the story keeps stretching backward.
01:46Marvel just re-released Endgame as Endgame Encore, adding new scenes that Joe Russo has
01:52described as set inside the Doomsday story.
01:55He called the re-release a companion for anyone planning to watch the new movie.
02:00The Russos have also said they conceived Doomsday and Secret Wars to speak to each other, though

02:51Then Doom builds a new world, called Battleworld, and rules it as a god.
02:56The people living there have no memory of any previous life.
03:00They believe Doom has always been their god, and Battleworld has always been home.
03:06One man reportedly keeps his memories, Steve Rogers.
03:10The story goes that Doom wants him to suffer, so he's chained in a prison, remembering everything.
03:16Reports also name the key figures of Doomsday as Doom, Steve Rogers, Thor, Reed Richards, and
03:23Loki.
03:24I want to be clear, Marvel has confirmed none of this.
03:28And here's the strange part, these reports have been so consistent, so widely repeated,
03:34that this ending has stopped being a secret.
03:37It's become the expectation.
03:39When the Russos say, surprising, are they really talking about the thing every leaker already
03:44described?
03:45A twist that everyone predicted isn't a twist.
03:49So, let's explore a different possibility.
03:52I want to be very clear about this.
03:54What comes next is fan speculation, not an insider report.
03:59It starts with the Avengers logo.
04:01There's a long running idea in the fandom called the Avengers circle theory.
04:05It says that the circle around the letter A in the logo predicts the outcome.
04:10A full circle means the heroes win.
04:12A half circle means they lose.
04:15Check the record.
04:16The first Avengers movie had a full circle, and the heroes won.
04:19Age of Ultron had a full circle, and they won.
04:23Infinity War had a half circle, and they lost.
04:26And honestly, nobody expected the Avengers to lose that completely.
04:30Endgame went back to a full circle, and they won.
04:34Now look at Doomsday.
04:35The circle is complete.
04:37And Secret Wars, due December 17th, 2027?
