03:41backstage palang hanggang sa pagsalang nila lang stage i'm there i'm present so i feel like my role
03:46is so vital and at the same time i have a big responsibility because these are precious kids
03:51and they're very sensitive and i also see myself in them when i was starting so let's take it from
03:58there yeah because i can't imagine na nakaka-relate ka dito dahil ito ay uh pinagdaanan mo and let's
04:06start with and not a lot of people know this na ikay nag-audition para sa starstruck oh my gosh
04:11ito boy name it i i tried oh my god ayan yung picture yeah yeah yes oh diba as a
04:18sex bomb dance
04:18okay okay take us there uh how was it tito boy yung picture na yan hindi ako nakausad sa mall
04:29audition hanggang mall audition lang ako huminto na po yung journey ko doon hindi na ako nakausad and name it
04:38tito boy pvbay also auditioned and i was rejected as well starstruck kids i got rejected and a bunch of
04:44other contests also and looking back ngayon it's such a full circle moment imagine i auditioned for
04:51pvb i became the host i auditioned for starstruck kids and now i'm in gma so talagang things are
04:57just really meant for you in the future parang kailangan mo lang maging patient and you don't
05:01realize na napaka-inspiring yan sa napakaraming mga bata na nagmamasid sa ating pag-uusap
05:06that you just don't give up exactly that's why i feel like i play such an important role and i'm
05:13blessed to be able to share my own experiences with arcady talents also right okay um i'm tempted
05:21to tell you the story because i judged uh reality you know uh contest for a long time yes for
05:29a long long
05:29time alamang hindi ko malilimutan talaga nung pinasok ang dressing room ko ng isang nanay oh my gosh
05:34ano nangyari tito boy oh sinabi sa akin ikaw ang sisira ng kinabukasan ng aking anak oh my god
05:39ikaw ang magiging dahilan kung bakit hindi sis magig matutuloy ang pagdanon so lagot ka tito boy
05:45hindi naman nangaral din ako sa kanya you know i i saw that as an opportunity na para sabihin sa
05:53manay importante rin yung pinakikingan mo ang anak mo yeah at importante na you know your child is not
05:59living uh whatever failed dreams you know that's what i'm thankful for for my parents when i was younger
06:05when i used to audition to these kinds of contests they never really forced me yeah nothing was ever
06:12forced lahat ng mga sinalihan ko ako yung nagsabi na gusto kong sumali sa mga contest na yun pero anong
06:17ginagawa nila pag nare-reject ka um they don't make it a big deal really let's go to the next

06:25yeah parang it's always it's okay you had fun you made friends i always viewed it like that
06:30na parang ang dami mong nakuha ang dami mong nakuha ang dami mong nakuha good things out of it like
06:35good experiences good friendships so it made me even parang wanna join more contest but when you were
06:42auditioning nag umpisa ka sa pagiging singer sa pagkanta di ba yes alam nang tito boy
06:47lahat din riko as a big kid nga kasi sa school lahat din riko sumayaw kumanta maghost lahat
06:54minasukan ko kasi nga i really i really felt happy whenever i perform in front of an audience so
06:59kahit na hindi ko pa kahit hindi ko abot yung kanta ay magagawa natin ng paraan yan ganon
07:03ano anong kinakata nyo dito we were singing a song by rihanna called california king then we're weary
07:09okay so ayan two high schoolers see janina's a good friend she's super successful in opm right
07:17now as she should kasi magaling siya talaga napakahusay yes and ito ako um as a singer
07:23ako dyan akala ko diba walang ano walang audio ang sarap sana huwag na natin i-audio gusto mo live

07:32ang galing na mismo kay gabby i live mo nga ikaw si janine huwag naman
07:40pero ikaw talaga yung talent siguro na hindi nung bata ka pa na talagang ang dali-daling
07:45pasayawin pakantahin yes tito boy kasi gustong gusto ko siya and you know every summer
07:50um some some kids enroll in like swimming lessons or right or mga ako hindi ang pinapag-enroll
07:57lan sa akin ng parents ko tatalungin nila ako what do you want for this for this summer um i
08:02would do
08:02musical theater i would do hip-hop dance dancing classes every summer meron akong pinapasuko
08:08na workshop because i'm just really having fun not because i'm preparing myself to go to the industry
08:13whatever it was just really me having so much fun it was a career uh yeah in itself and then
08:19you
08:19auditioned this was a gma7 yes i did so a lot of people actually think because i i popped out
08:25of
08:25nowhere okay so people thought i was anak ni ganito kaya nakapasok ako like people were saying
08:32ako ako ng artista ako ako ng boss but that's not true at all i really lined up as in
08:37like i really lined
08:38up went back for callbacks audition right everything um i really did the whole process of
08:46being an artista and naswertehan lang talaga ako tito boy that the right projects were given to me
08:51and eventually i was able to um earn a spot in correct so let's go to the voice kids kumusta
08:59kumusta yung
09:00karanasan i mean a specific moment salimbawa pinagdaanan mo sa voice kids um so so as a journey host
09:08tito boy ako yung kumakausap sa kanila bago sila sumalang ng stage so i really get to to know
09:13them on a deeper level and wala akong script tito boy so they just gave me like bullet points they
09:19gave me bullet points sa parang okay ito yung background nung interview yung bata
09:22yun na nga yung sasabihin ko tito boy it's so much fun to be able to freestyle na free flowing
09:29lang kausap mo yung bata kasi they really surprise you at saka listening niya by by just listening to them
09:35ang dami ko na agad naiisip ng mga follow-up questions ako mismo naturally nagiging curious
09:41ako on getting to know them even more just by listening to their story and it's the best um
09:47experience ever because for example in pvb i have a script whenever i whenever i do events or pageants
09:53i i have to follow a certain script but for the voice kids as the journey host wala kong script
09:58and it just makes everything else actually even better especially with kids right it's diving into
10:04the unknown na ating madalas pinag-uusapan sabi ko ngay parang i got to view the industry or the world
10:11in a different way through their the kids eyes kasi iba nila iba nila i-view itong contest na to
10:17eh kasi sa akin siyempre coming into the voice parang okay it's work diba um 12 years na ako sa
10:21industry
10:21yeah syempre parang sa akin parang okay set to um magta taping tayo ngayon mag shoot tayo today
10:27ganun lang sa kanila parang wow there are cameras i'm being able to perform in front of these big
10:33audience parang nabibigyan ulit ako ng different view of the industry and of of our lives because of the
10:39kids oh gamit gamit ang lente nung mga bata yeah and i have fun kunyari pagdating nung bata nakita ko
10:44na kinakabahan siya medyo stiff siya ang sarap din na to be able for the kid to be able to
10:49trust
10:50you na mag loosen up siya to be able to in a given period of time in a given period
10:54of time
10:55na talagang bibigyan mo sila ng safe space to be able to speak up parang these are the things
11:00na i constantly learn every day with a kid invite everyone to be part of the voice kids yes mga
11:06kapuso
11:06manuod po kayo ng the voice kids that's every sunday at 7 pm so currently nasa blinds auditions kami
11:12ngayon um ngayong october so exciting kasi ito yung pinaka favorite part ng show ko eh yung
11:18talagang may intriga ka kung sino yung coach na haharap para sa'yo so yes um every sunday po

14:25the seven year itch yeah alam mo about now you are going towards nine years going 10 going 10 on
14:33february okay so the logical question is i'm sure everybody's asking about the marriage
14:39mga balak so what's in your mind i mean what are you and khalil talking about thinking about
14:46uh-huh you know what tito boy um some people assume kasi na we get irritated or annoyed whenever
14:51people ask us it's really it's hindi naman namin niya masama territorial eh yeah parang for us it's
14:58it's fine it's fine talking about it because we're very open about it and as of now talaga we're just
15:03taking our time i mean khalil's so busy i'm also busy and we have so many things to do pa
15:08but
15:08definitely we have an understanding na dun naman papunta yun it's just that we're looking
15:14long for the right timing but i'm really happy because he's doing uh quite a lot yes and it's
15:19it's film acting and he loves acting and that's who he is so right i'm very happy for him
15:25as akang pinakagusto kakalil din um but siya pinipili you know
15:28ngayon napapanood mo sa serye bukas nasa entablado ngayon nga may bl siya may kissing scene
15:36abangan panorin ninyo but yung mga bagay na ganito halimbawa um pag gagawa siya ng bl i mean
15:43does he talk to you about it oh yeah yeah we're very much would you allow your boyfriend to do

15:47kissing scene with another man if he wants to do it if he thinks it's the right thing to do
15:52then i would
15:53trust him oh halimbawa kailangan talaga ng script kasi actor talaga si kalili
15:58oo oo talagang tsaka blood and soul niya ang pagpag-aate correct
16:01so if he thinks that it's the right decision to make i would leave it to him
16:06kasi oh nice would you do a gl me oh yeah sure i'm open
16:12yeah yun siguro ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit yun nagwork kasi there's so much freedom
16:17yeah in this relationship yes and i'm very much open about it kasi parang we respect each other's
16:22craft like for example siya sa pag-aarte niya super nire-respeto ko siya and and likewise sa
16:28kanya sa pag-host ko super nire-respected niya so i think it really works well yeah nine going
16:33ten how has it been so far the best years of my life talaga yeah pero nung tinawag ni barbie
16:40for teza nasa kalil ay matinong leading man ano ang reaction mo i am not surprised oh um like
16:48anyone who encounters kalil always has good things to say about him and i'm happy that barbie was um
16:55able to experience um yung alaga ni kalil because he really is a good guy and um i'm happy that

17:04able to share his pagaalaga to other people uh i'm looking at you now and i'm just so proud
17:10because you're so pretty you're so oh yeah you're so pretty there are other days when you worry
17:15because i'm so cute you don't have to say anything you're really competitive
17:24oh my my hindi pero like ah hindi na siguro ako to the point na kinakabahan na parang hala may
17:32my co-work cacolil or whatever parang he doesn't make me feel that way and nasa sa kanya yun
17:39okay after getting married are you the type of couple who would start a family right away or
17:47napapag-usapan niya nyo na sandali muna i mean what are you talking about
17:51Whenever we talk about these kinds of topics, he would always tell me that it's up to you.

18:05Pero at the end of the day, he really assures me na your body, your timeline, your choice.

18:17Gabby, if you were to talk to that young girl, auditioning everywhere, you know right now,
18:23na you're very successful, you're doing a lot, you're living the dream, Ika na.
18:28What would you tell that little girl na umiikot sa mga auditions?
18:34Don't let anyone stop you doing from what...
18:38Don't let anyone stop you from doing whatever you want to do, what you love doing.
18:44In school, kasi I remember when I was younger, I used to participate in a lot of school activities like
18:49cheer dances,
18:50I would join the choir, I would join the student council, and alam mo na, yung mga ibang mga bata,
18:55parang ang tingin sa akin, parang, hala, bakit ano siya na naman, sasala na naman siya, ambida-bida, epal, ganyan
19:01-ganyan.
19:01But you know, looking back right now, I'm so happy that my younger self was able to conquer everything
19:06and was able to just really have fun and not doubt.
19:10So, to my little Gabby, just keep doing you.
19:15And someday you'll understand, someday it'll all make sense on why God is allowing you to do these things.
