00:00Closer means deeper industrial collaboration on the big issues like
00:06quantum, space, AI, defence, that's what we've talked about today. I came with an
00:13offer for Germany to become part of the project around the next generation
00:18fighter aircraft and the Chancellor has accepted that offer and is looking into
00:23the question and that could bring defence job benefits to both Germany and the UK.
00:31So from closer collaboration comes economic opportunity and jobs and that
00:38very much is the spirit of the the treaty that we've ratified today, the
00:42Kensington Treaty, the first treaty between Germany and the UK since the
00:46Second World War. It really is a significant moment.
