You Slapped My Mom, I Bankrupted Your Whole Family is an intense drama about betrayal, family humiliation, and taking back what was yours. Grace Weaver is a fashion designer who helped her husband Richie’s family company, WF, rise from a struggling business into a fashion powerhouse through her personal design patents.
Despite everything she contributed, Grace and her mother Linda endure constant humiliation from the Weaver family for five years. Richie tells Grace to keep putting up with it, but the situation reaches a breaking point when Linda is publicly humiliated at a fashion show.
Grace finally fights back. She revokes all 27 patent licenses and files for divorce. Without her designs, WF quickly falls apart. Grace then leaves the Weaver family behind and starts over with her mother and friends, determined to build a career and life of her own.
