00:07Thank you. Next question.
00:09Front row. Second.
00:11...I suppose we did talk about it yesterday.
00:14While we focused a lot on space differing remarks, it could be contributing a CubeSat,
00:19which many of them are very excited about.
00:21It could be contributing an engineer on one of the...
00:23...they can invest in and they want that aligns with their national priorities.
00:26We do think that's a great opportunity together.
00:29And many of our Artemis Accords members have entered the Artemis Accords at different stages of their space agencies
00:36and their participation in space.
00:38And some of them are brand new.
00:40And then some of them, some of our European partners in Japan and around the world that have major space
00:46programs,
00:47lots of contributions, but some are just at the sea level and they're excited about that as well.
00:51So we shared this with them. It's something that we're pretty proud of.
00:54And General, it's great to see you here as well.
00:57The General actually led, Peru led the workshop down in May, down in Peru.
01:02And we have a workshop every year. So we have two events. Over to you.
01:05Thank you so much.
01:07Let me start with a good morning to all members of the press and colleagues from the global space community.
01:14It's an decent honor to stand alongside NASA Deputy Administrator Matt Anderson today,
01:20Representative Peru, and the Chair of Endeavor.
01:23In May of this year, Lima had the privilege to serve as the first city, Latin American city,
01:29to host for International Artemis Accords workshop.
01:33This historic vision. We firmly believe that the future of lunar and deep space exploration
01:39must be guided by transparency, sustainability, integrability, and inclusivity.
01:45Peru will continue to contribute as a reliable country by building bridges of cooperation
01:52to this new era of space exploration that will deliver benefits for all humankind.
01:58Thank you all very much.
02:01Thank you both.
02:02We'll now move into...
02:03Before we begin, please identify yourself and your outlet when you are called on.
02:06Please keep your questions to one at a time.
02:09And let us know who your question is directed towards.
02:12To help us get to as many reporters as possible,
02:14please keep questions concise and avoid extended follow-ups.
02:18I'll call reporters one at a time.
02:19And with that, I'll take our first question.
02:22Second row in the blue.
02:25We're like-minded in those principles, which we don't see them as that right now.
02:29Then there would be a possibility to join the Artemis Accords.
02:32But one of the things that keeps that common bond is those like-minded principles.
02:37We can have, hypothetically, the United States in 2029,
02:41one year after we land on the moon,
02:42if the President of the United States shows up at IAC and gives a speech,
02:46how important space is to our economy.
02:49Clearly, Turkey has prioritized space,
02:51viewing it as a way for Turkish industry to take the country to the next level,
02:56finding ways that maybe they haven't had economic benefit in the past.
02:59Many of these countries have found this is a way.
03:01We have to get into space if we want to be prosperous as a nation.
03:06Thank you.
03:07Thank you.
03:08The teamwork, and then we can build interest.
03:11The next opportunity, we are surely,
03:14we'll have the opportunity to build maybe in between the countries of Latin America
03:19to be able to apply for any future,
03:22in the near term, for the Luna.
03:24Thank you.
