00:00I can't spend the day with my mum while she wants to do a business from Mauritius.
00:05I've been with my mum to get up quite early.
00:09I normally head out for a morning walk.
00:12When they get back to the house, me and my sister are heading down for some breakfast
00:17before we head off for school.
00:20Today we are shooting a new pole collection, so as soon as the kids leave, the crew arrives.
00:25And while the models get straight into hair and makeup, we look at the location options.
00:29We started with some still-life shots, which is exactly when I managed to drop some of
00:33the jewellery into the sea.
00:35Pia's first shot of the day was in the water, which, even though we are in Mauritius, it's
00:40actually winter here right now, so it's pretty cold.
00:42While Pia was in the water, Eve was doing her thing on the rocks, and we got some great shots.
00:46Finn then woke up from his second nap of the day and came to check out what was going on.
00:50We then moved on to the next look, but the weather started to turn a little cloudy on
00:54us, and that was about the time that the pizza arrived.
00:56If so, we stopped for a quick lunch break, and Laura and I had a look at the mood board
01:00to see what shots we had so far before heading out onto the boat.
01:03The weather wasn't ideal on the water, but we made the most of it.
01:06Pia climbed the sail, which was all very exciting, and despite the weather, we actually ended
01:09up getting some of my favourite shots.
01:11We then headed to the beach for the final shots of the day, which was about the time
01:16that Leo and Chloe got back from school and wanted to come check out what was going on.
01:19Chloe was absolutely fascinated by the models.
01:22We got very lucky with the sunset.
01:24It was a good one, so the light was perfect, and we got that final sunset shot, had a quick
01:28review of the footage, and called it a wrap.
01:30As we were leaving, the kids spotted some of their friends on the beach, so we hung out
01:34on the beach for a bit before heading home for dinner in bed.
01:37And that is a wrap on a very long and full day here in Mauritius.
01:40Let's see you next time.
