00:00The team hadn't landed a single one of their rail tricks throughout the final,
00:04so when the tables turned and their opponents, the Wolverines, were on offense,
00:08they clearly knew the weak point to target.
00:11Julian Agliardi from Team SHS had to do the exact same trick to defend.
00:16It wasn't necessarily a hard trick for him to do,
00:18he'd done harder tricks on much bigger rails before.
00:21But as he rolled up to the rail and flipped his board,
00:24he landed awkwardly and slammed into the concrete.
00:27Another point to the Wolverines.
00:29SHS were still in front, but the Wolverines were gradually creeping up on them.
00:33And now that they'd seemingly identified their opponent's Achilles heel,
00:37their resident rail technician, Roman Hager, certainly didn't hold back.
00:41This time, it was a trick Julian had never even tried before.
00:44And as you watch the slow motion replay, you can probably understand why.
00:48Rather than spinning his board at the moment he pops off the stairs,
00:52Roman spins his board at the very last second, right before it lands on the rail.
00:56It's called a late shove-it, and doing it onto a rail is basically begging to get yourself neutered.
01:02However, it didn't scare Julian off.
01:04He practiced the late shove-it a couple times in the standing zone, and then he went for it.
01:08He landed on the board, but because he didn't roll away, it didn't count.
01:12Yet another point to the Wolverines.
01:14It looked like Roman was going to be the hero of the PSL Championship.
01:18The Wolverines were allowed one more rail trick in the match.
01:21So a few tricks later, Roman stepped up again, feeling like he now had the perfect opportunity for a guaranteed
01:28point.
01:28Even if it was going to ruffle some feathers.
01:31And it's the same trick to Becky.
01:33I don't like it.
01:34Unsportsmanlike conduct.
01:35It was a controversial move.
01:36Every trick in a PSL match is supposed to be one which hasn't been done in that game.
01:41But technically speaking, this time, Roman had landed the trick rolling the opposite way.
01:46So the trick stood.
01:47Roman was certain he'd locked in yet another crucial point for his team.
01:52But there was something Roman had obviously overlooked with Julian's previous attempt.
01:57When Julian tried the trick the first time, he almost rode away backwards by accident.
02:01So when Julian locked in and went to defend the trick the second time round.
02:10The crowd went absolutely berserk.
02:12Even Julian could hardly believe what he'd just done.
02:15SHS went on to win the final and Julian was hailed MVP of the entire tournament.
