00:00I'm going to give a shout out to Jesse Legree, freshman wide receiver from Baltimore, goes to Oregon State, 741
00:05yards, nine touchdowns, second in the country in receiving yards, tied for first in the country in touchdowns.
00:11Nobody's talking about this kid.
00:12He's a true freshman, speedster, small, and he's been eating against everybody.
00:16Started early in the year, 136 yards against Houston, 240 against Texas Tech.
00:21That's two high-end teams, high-end defenses that he was just cooking against.
00:24I mean, when you leave Baltimore, and a lot of people always say, like, got to get out of Baltimore.
00:31It's not easy to adjust.
00:32This kid goes across the country as a true freshman.
00:35Was that St. Francis was awesome at St. Francis?
00:37Didn't get the offers he probably should have.
00:39I think some teams wanted to see what he could do with the next level, and it was some lower
00:43-level schools in Oregon State.
00:46They offer him.
00:47He commits the next day, and he has gone out there and just ate every single week.
00:52Hasn't had a game under 100 yards.
00:53He's had 40-plus-yard receptions in every game he's played so far, 50-3 of 5.
00:58It's just really, really cool to see a kid from this city go out to an area that is brand
01:03new.
01:03And I said it before, like, moving away from Baltimore is not always as easy as everybody thinks it is.
01:08Like, Baltimore City and Baltimore County, it is a different area than all the way out there on the other
01:13side of the country.
01:14This young man goes out there and just is eating.
01:17He is balling.
01:18And I'm really interested to see how the rest of the year goes.
01:20But super happy for the kid.
01:22I did think we need to give him a shout-out just with him being from the area, a true
01:25freshman.
01:26Nobody in the country, whether it's a senior or a sophomore, junior, is doing what he's doing.
01:30As a true freshman, this young man is eating.
01:32So shout-out to Jesse LaGree.
