00:03the Dallas Stars are officially in the win column this season after a 5-0 shutout against the San
00:10Jose Sharks. It was Jake Odinger's 17th NHL career shutout, but the game started off a little
00:17strange with San Jose Sharks Macklin Celebrini being taken out of the game after he did take
00:23the ice for warm-ups. He was ruled out with a lower body injury, but that helped the Stars
00:28ultimately in the end, scoring five goals throughout the game, starting off with Miro Haskinen. It was
00:35his second goal of the NHL season after he scored against the Nashville Predators this last Saturday
00:41on a 5-on-5 goal. In that first period, 30 shot attempts alone and 11 shots on goal. In
00:49the second
00:49period, it was Yoel Kivaranta, his first of the season from a corner angle, and it was that fourth
00:55line production right there that allowed that second goal. Then followed the captain, Jamie
01:00Ben, his first of the season, and Jason Robertson, his first as well. And then heading into that third
01:05period later on in the game, Miko Ransanen scoring his first goal of the season. The Dallas Stars now
01:12head to the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday, where they'll be on a two-game road trip and then back
01:18here next week at the American Airlines Center. I'm Savannah Humoller, and you've been credentialed.
