Ben Affleck Races the Clock to Save His Son in Animals

A political campaign is about to become the least of Mark Kimball’s problems.

Ben Affleck stars as a Los Angeles mayoral candidate whose son is kidnapped and held for a massive ransom. With much of the family’s money already tied up in his campaign, Mark and his wife Abigail, played by Kerry Washington, are forced to cross lines and expose secrets they never wanted the public to see.

Directed by Affleck, Animals arrives in select theaters and on Netflix October 9, 2026.
