07:34So Ishimori using his power to overcome the advantage that Hiromu Takahashi had enjoyed.
07:41I am glad to see that Ishimori's leg is okay.
07:45That could have been disastrous.
07:47Yeah, he really fell awkwardly there.
07:49Hiromu caught him in the bread basket, like you said, Kevin, and he fell funny.
07:54Almost catching his leg on that bottom rope.
07:56Six, seven, eight, one.
08:00From the lower back of Hiromu Takahashi jammed into the apron.
08:04And now he's going to have to answer the count of red shoes.
08:08He will do so, but Ishimori will certainly enjoy advantage once Hiromu gets back in.
08:18Ishimori was brought into bullet club by Tama Tonga.
08:20One goal in mind.
08:21Become the ace of the junior division.
08:23You think he's on his way?
08:24Do you think he's done it?
08:25I think he's completed it.
08:26Considered it clocked, Kevin.
08:28Take it off your list.
08:29The man is currently wearing the gold.
08:33And now cranking the neck of Hiromu.
08:35I think certainly with Hiromu as a top contender, he's going to eat up a lot of the oxygen in
08:43the room
08:44and get a lot of conversation going his way.
08:46He just has that personality.
08:48But Ishimori has all the goods, no doubt about it.
08:51That's right.
08:52Talk is cheap, Kevin.
08:53And unless you're wearing that gold, it means nothing.
09:12Ishimori welcoming the heavy hands.
09:14Yeah, his chest already red from the early chops of Hiromu.
09:18Now welcoming them.
09:21We've seen these exchanges before and they don't go well.
09:38Will Barrow, watch this.
09:41Face first.
09:43Cordish and Mori there landing face first right into the center of the ring there.
09:58So Ishimori's down, Hiromu pulling himself up.
10:02Slowly but surely on the opposite side of the ring.
10:07Got a feeling that the winner of this match will have the loser of this match chasing him the whole
10:14way.
10:15It's important to get off to a fast start, especially when you're facing one of the logical finalists in your
10:21tournament opener.
10:27Something tells me this won't be the only time we see these two face off in this tournament.
10:33Oh, Ishimori put the shortstop on there, but a drop kick into the corner.
10:38And he had nowhere to go straight into that turnbuckle.
10:41Oh!
10:43But Ishimori comes back with one of his own.
10:49Pop up and it's dead.
10:50Hurricane Rana there by Ishimori.
10:56Look at that.
10:57Tried to elevate him into the corner.
10:58Ishimori catches himself.
11:02Hiromu has other ideas given.
11:06Dynamite plunger.
11:07No one's dead.
11:07Poison Rana.
11:08No.
11:09Drop down.
11:10Ishimori steps over.
11:12Hiromu reverses.
11:13Back handspring.
11:15No.
11:15German suplex.
11:16Caught in midair and right on the back of his head.
11:19But Ishimori straight back up.
11:23There's the poison Rana.
11:24But Hiromu was on his feet for a split second.
11:28For a moment he kind of found his feet.
11:31But that poison Rana effect came off.
11:35Oh that time Hiromu catches and throws Ishimori into the corner.
11:40Ishimori landed hard on the top of his head there.
11:48Gino you can imagine the pins and needles shooting down the arms of Ishimori after that one.
11:53Oh you're just hoping he can feel his arms and legs Kevin.
11:56Right on the top of the head.
11:57His neck bent in an awkward way.
12:04And again it's night one Kevin.
12:07Yep.
12:09Hiromu tremendously motivated.
12:12For the best of Super Junior Tournament.
12:34And now Hiromu what in the world does he have in mind.
12:37Anytime these guys are on the edge of the ring on the apron there it's always a worrying sign.
12:45Looking for a suplex all the way out to the floor.
12:52Ishimori luckily landing on his feet there.
12:56Ishimori might be wise to get this match back on the other side of the ropes.
13:00But instead looking to take Hiromu.
13:06And now Ishimori about to get back dropped.
13:09No he puts the brakes on.
13:19Watch out oh my god oh my god.
13:22Oh my god Paul Driver.
13:27Kevin.
13:32God.
13:33Oh my god.
13:34That's got to be the end.
13:35Red Shoes has to cool this off now.
13:44And we know of course Hiromu with his history with the deck.
13:49Suffered a broken neck in the match with Dragon Lee with Ryu Lee.
13:56That could be the end of Takahashi's best of Super Genius Tournament.
14:04The pole driver right on the apron.
14:21And Ishimori telling Red Shoes to stop the count.
14:26Because Ishimori is going to keep going.
14:31Moonsault out of the corner but Hiromu catches Ishimori.
14:34Oh my god.
14:38How Kevin.
14:43It looks like Ishimori had hit that moonsault.
14:47But only to be driven head first on the outside.
14:54So Ishimori opening and closing his hands.
15:01Making sure that he's got feeling in all of his extremities.
15:07This is a dangerous, dangerous match.
15:19Ishimori had told the referee to stop counting.
15:22He wanted to hit that moonsault.
15:23He could have won via count out.
15:25Now a possibility of a double count out.
15:28And neither man would get a point.
15:30Yeah something's going to give here Kevin.
15:32Ishimori might have just been too overly confident there.
15:35It felt like he had it in the palm of his hands.
15:37And now he's struggling to even get back in.
15:42Hiromu in first.
15:43Ishimori at the count of 19.
15:46But this tournament opener has taken its toll on both men.
16:14He drove his feet right into the back of the head of Ishimori sending him out of the ring.
16:31And Hiromu's got him right where he wants it.
16:34The goal here should be to get two points.
16:37Win this match.
16:39And now getting it back in.
16:41Dynamite plunger.
16:42Dynamite plunger.
16:44Yes sir.
16:45There it is.
16:46So dynamite plunger in the ring too.
16:49And a kick out from Ishimori.
16:51How Ishimori still has the strength to kick out at all.
16:54He's amazing Kevin.
16:56They've taken some brutal punishment throughout this match.
17:06Ishimori looking like he's just trying to work out where he is Kevin.
17:10I know.
17:11And if Hiromu can capitalize fully here.
17:19Hook him up for time bomb and move on.
17:22Yes.
17:23He's going to try.
17:24Ishimori.
17:27Ishimori spreading his weight out trying to stop the lift from Hiromu but still gets him up.
17:32Ishimori trying to fight back.
17:39Sidesteps the thrust kick.
17:41Ishimori extends the boot.
17:43That time couldn't stop the thrust.
17:45Here we go.
17:46Jumping knee strike from Ishimori.
17:52Turns him inside out though with a lariatino.
17:54Massive lariat there.
17:57Says Ishimori spinning and this could be it.
18:00Two and all.
18:05Desperation lariat there.
18:08Almost cost Ishimori the match.
18:10This is one of these matches that regardless of the decision whoever wins or loses.
18:14Both men are going to be impacted by what's happening here tonight throughout this tournament.
18:20It's always a factor in these longer tournaments.
18:23Be it the best of Super Juniors or the G1.
18:26Each match takes its toll already.
18:28Both these men have landed on their heads and necks heavily.
18:40That time Ishimori takes Hiromu over.
18:45Ishimori with that little bit more strength and weight.
18:48Even though he took one as well.
18:50Was able to spin Hiromu around with that clothesline.
18:56You hear the fans at Aichi clapping their hands and smacking those thunder sticks together.
19:09And now watch this.
19:11Watch this.
19:15Drops down.
19:16Shoulder breaker first.
19:18Now extends the knees.
19:23Is this enough to get victory?
19:24Two points for Ishimori.
19:26Hiromu kicks out.
19:28Ishimori dropping that knee.
19:29That shoulder breaker setting it up and then exploding the lungs there.
19:36You can hear Hiromu trying to get some air in.
19:4215 minutes gone.
19:4315 minutes remain.
19:47If it goes to time.
19:49One each.
19:51But it looks as if Ishimori is on the way to getting two points for the win.
19:58La Mystica.
19:59Same way he injured Hiromu's arm.
20:02Injured his shoulder.
20:03And now the yes lock.
20:05He's going to lock in.
20:06He's just going to wrench back if he can.
20:12Red Shoes asking the question.
20:24He has to tap him.
20:25He has to.
20:26Yeah, I know.
20:27I know because his whole tournament could hang on this result.
20:31Again.
20:32Ishimori already injured his shoulder once.
20:39Trying to get to the rope.
20:41Trying to get to the rope.
20:42Ishimori going to reposition Gino.
20:44Yeah, rolls him over.
20:45Smart by Ishimori, Kevin.
20:47Straight back to the center of the ring.
20:59Ishimori shouting.
21:00That's going to be it.
21:01Is that the tap?
21:02Nope.
21:04Ishimori.
21:06Will he reposition?
21:07Hiromu's starting to move for the ropes.
21:08Yes, look at this.
21:10You're going to roll him over again if you can, Kevin.
21:12Couldn't.
21:15I'm sure there was a tap.
21:16I'm sure I saw a tap, Kevin.
21:18No, it wasn't a tap.
21:19It's got to be at least more than one hit on the mat.
21:22You wouldn't want an unintentional tap out to be a decision here.
21:28Well, yes, you would, because it's bullet club.
21:31Look, Kevin, I'm just calling it straight down the line, as always.
21:37All right, so now Ishimori, who had Hiromu suffering greatly in the S-lock.
21:45He can put it away here.
21:47Bloody cross?
21:48No.
21:54Did you hear the sound of that?
21:58Felt it all the way through, and now Hiromu.
22:02He's just dead white.
22:08He'll put his foot on the chest of Hiromu.
22:26Hiromu Takahashi is all but done here.
22:31And the bloody cross awaits.
22:33No, he turns it over into an arm drag.
22:36Pop-up.
22:37Power bomb.
22:40Digs down deep and finds something.
22:47Ishimori's down.
22:48Hiromu on top two.
22:50And a kick out.
22:52Light kick out by Ishimori.
22:54We seem to be in complete control.
22:57But Hiromu managing to turn it around.
23:11So something has got to give here.
23:14There is no way these men will be in the last time.
23:18Somebody's got to win.
23:20And right now it looks like it's Hiromu Takahashi who's on the road to victory.
23:37He's trying to fight back with those knees, Kevin.
23:44Hiromu had the same idea, but then drops the back of his neck right on his knee.
23:53Oh, look at that.
23:54Great counter move.
23:55Great counter.
23:56Yeah, strong roll through there.
23:59Drives him into the corner.
24:02And again.
24:07Surprising strength from Hiromu.
24:11Running Death Valley driver.
24:25He's looking to end this, Kevin.
24:28Ishimori's going to pull something out of his pocket.
24:30Here we go.
24:31Spin him around.
24:33Time bomb.
24:36Leg is hooked.
24:37Two.
24:38And it is over.
24:39Hiromu Takahashi wins.
24:43What a way to start the tournament for Takahashi.
24:53And a winner of the current champ, Kevin.
24:56Yes.
24:57So that immediately takes me to, you know, even if Hiromu doesn't win, he's got a victory over Ishimori in
25:04his back pocket.
25:06And certainly for Hiromu, it's important to get the two points, important to get the revenge over Ishimori for the
25:12win at Jingu Stadium that Bone Soldier got.
25:16But at what cost?
25:18Because how in the world are either man going to be able to go forward anywhere near 100%?
25:22We're just at the beginning of the tournament.
25:24There was some heavy landing on the neck and hands of both men.
25:28And you're right.
25:29This is going to take its toll.
25:30We've still got a long way to go.
25:49So your winners on night one, Master Watto, Robbie Eagles, Sho, Taguchi, and that man, Hiromu Takahashi.
26:10And the winner of the World Tag League side, the great Okan and Jeff Cobb.
26:18Jeff Cobb, the mystery partner.
26:21Also, Evil and Yujiro Takahashi, Tomohiro Ishii and Toriyano, Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr., and Finjuice.
26:33The five victorious teams on the World Tag League side.
26:37And the World Tag League will roll on tomorrow with Tanahashi and Hanare versus Zack and Taichi.
26:49It's your scheduled main event.
26:51I would imagine it's going to happen.
26:53But in what shape is Tanahashi's knee going to be in?
26:57And you have a feeling it's going to affect that matchup.
27:01Hiromu will close it out.
27:05Ishii Mori, taichi, taichi, taichi!
27:16I got it!
27:16Hi, Ishi Mori, you have a question?
27:18I'm the winner of my life.
27:20Then take my belt right now and get into it.
27:23Don't say that, I'm Super Junior.
27:25Mais c'est comme ça, c'est quoi???
27:36Enfin, c'est le meilleur de la JNM des supers JNM.
