Thomas Tuchel believes England are heading in the right direction as he celebrates a year at the helm.

00:05Yeah, it has flown by. I have to be a little bit honest before I take all the flowers and the credit.

00:09I started on the 1st of January. I just gave a press conference, I think, one year ago.

00:13I knew you'd be modest, but it was in your thinking when you were appointed.

00:17You've had that year to think as well, haven't you?

00:19I mean, assess, okay, not the year, but assess those months you've had,

00:24because that result you had last month was ever so impressive.

00:27Impressive, you didn't really talk too much on that.

00:31No, that was good. It was a step in the right direction and gave us all the feeling that we are getting there in the end.

00:37But we have to keep the thing going.

00:39It's the most difficult to build a team and to find the momentum and to find the right balance within a squad.

00:50So we are on that and we take it very seriously and be careful about it.

00:55But, of course, it was for all of us the reassurance that we go into the right direction and we will get there in the end.
