00:00Hello from Dodger Stadium for game two of the National League Division Series,
00:03where Prince Sale will not be pitching for the Atlanta Braves.
00:06That's the big story today as the Dodgers try to take a two-game sit-on lead in this best
00:10-of-five
00:10series. Sale, of course, is the Atlanta Braves' ace, but is unable to pitch today after going
00:15twice in a wild-card series earlier this week against the Philadelphia Phillies. Instead,
00:19the Braves will be going with a bullpen game that will be started by left-hander Ray Kerr.
00:23They'll have to go to some of their higher leverage relievers later in the game.
00:26It all works out as a potential advantage for the Dodgers, who not only get to avoid Sale in
00:31these first two games, a pitcher who last time he faced them in August through a complete game
00:35shutout, but now that he's going to go in game three, he won't be able to make a full-length
00:39start in game five either. The Dodgers will be turning to Blake Snell, hoping he can continue
00:44a strong finish to the regular season, and hoping that they can go to Atlanta up two games to none,
00:49trying to close out this series as quickly as possible in pursuit of their third straight
00:53World Series. Make sure to follow all our coverage at CaliforniaPost.com and tune in after the game
00:58at our YouTube page at California Post Sports, where me, Jack Harris, and Dylan Hernandez,
01:02our baseball columnists, will be going live to break down everything that happens tonight.
