00:00The President, we have a decision that I'll make about Iran.
00:03Iran has been decimated.
00:06So the only question is, it'll either be the easy way
00:09or the hard way.
00:11We'll have it the easy way or the hard way.
00:13The Press, Mr. President,
00:19I inherited high costs from the Democrats,
00:23or the Democrats, as I call them,
00:25because their policy is so bad.
00:27But we inherited a lot, and we've gotten the prices down.
00:31Oil is coming down.
00:32Oil is right now lower, and it's been lower
00:35than it was under the Biden administration.
00:37And they did nothing about the fact that Iran
00:40cannot have a nuclear weapon.
00:42By the way, Iran, as you know,
00:44is virtually giving up any plans of a nuclear weapon.
00:47The Press, Mr. President,
00:48why did you come to the Obama administration?
00:51Why did you come to the Obama administration?
00:54The President, we want to get away from this ridiculous way
00:58and custom of every twice a year,
01:02turning your clocks back, turning your clocks forward,
01:05being late for dinner,
01:07being late for very important meetings.
01:09It's ridiculous.
01:10And if you look at the public, they agree.
01:13That's a 100 percent issue.
01:15Sixty-five percent, I'll give you an example.
01:18Right now, we're sitting out here.
01:19It's light, it's nice.
01:21If you come down here in another three weeks,
01:26it'll be dark.
01:27It'll be — who wants it?
01:29We want our sunlight in the afternoon.
01:31But more importantly than that,
01:33we don't want to change clocks twice a year.
01:36It's very expensive.
01:38It's got many problems.
01:41Even crime, as crazy as it sounds,
01:44when you have light, you have much less crime.
01:47So, the House voted it more than 80 percent.
01:52It's been sitting up there.
01:53And hopefully, we can get Tom Cotton to move.
01:56Tom Cotton is holding it.
01:57He shouldn't be holding it.
01:59It's an issue that people want.
02:01It — we had it a long time ago,
02:03but they used it for other purposes,
02:05to get something else approved,
02:07and they gave it up.
02:08But people want to have light in the evening.
02:10But really, what they want more than that —
02:13more than that, by a lot,
02:15they don't want to have to go around changing clocks.
02:17I have the same thing.
02:18Last time, six months ago, we're changing clocks,
02:22and nobody changed the clocks,
02:24and everybody's late.
02:25It takes people — it discombobulates everybody.
02:30So, we can finally have a vote.
02:33We have the vote in the House.
02:35Mike Johnson did a great job.
02:37Now, we'd like to have the vote in the Senate.
02:40Tom Cotton is holding it up.
02:42You know who wants it?
02:43The farmers want it.
02:44You know who wants it?
02:45Sports want it.
02:46Professional sports and amateurs
02:48that would like to play tennis at night,
02:51would like to play golf a little bit
02:53without having to run home after 14 holes.
02:57It's ridiculous.
02:58It's very expensive to do.
03:01It's not a good thing.
03:02People don't want to have to change their clocks
03:05twice a year.
03:06It's a lot of work for a lot of people.
03:08They're running around for two days,
03:10changing all the clocks in their house.
03:12So, it's an easy win.
03:15And I'm not even talking about for the Republican Senate.
03:19For the Senate, because it's a very bipartisan issue.
03:23And Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas,
03:26a state that I won by 35 or 40 points,
03:29I don't know, by a lot, he's got to do it.
03:32Because it's really, it would be a very nice win
03:37for the United States Senate and for the people.
03:40Have a good time, everybody.
