00:00A statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces, in the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful, the
00:06Almighty said, whoever commits aggression against you, then attack him in like manner, as he attacked you. Allah, the Almighty,
00:13has spoken the truth.
00:15In response to the ongoing Saudi-led military aggression against our capital, Sana'a, and the Free Governorates, which reached
00:2360 airstrikes and missile attacks during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Saudi aggression raids since the
00:29start of this escalation on our country to 1,410 total raids and missiles.
00:36The Yemeni Armed Forces, with the divine assistance of Allah Almighty, have successfully executed a highly significant and qualitative military
00:43operation, utilizing a number of advanced ballistic missiles and combat drones, specifically targeting the major Aramco oil facilities located within
00:50the capital city of the Saudi enemy, Riyadh.
00:53The operation has successfully achieved its goal, all thanks be to Allah, and the strikes were executed with pinpoint accuracy,
01:00which resulted in fires erupting across the targeted sites.
01:03The ongoing unjust shedding of our precious Yemeni blood, carried out with extreme criminality and brutality, makes it imperative for
01:11our valiant armed forces, alongside our nation's free people, to immediately take necessary escalatory steps, and firm, decisive deterrent measures
01:20to confirm to everyone that the price for spilling our people's sacred blood will be truly great and costly.
01:26Let the criminal enemy fully realize that the continued shedding of the blood of our people will come at a
01:31very heavy price for them.
01:33We continue to impose the equation of siege.
01:36We continue to impose the equation of siege for siege, escalation for escalation, and targeting the Saudi enemy's reinforcements until
01:45the aggression stops and the siege on our dear country is ended.
01:49Allah is our sufficiency, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
01:53The most excellent protector, and the most gracious helper, may Yemen live on, free, cherished, and truly independent.
02:01Victory for Yemen, and for all the honorable free people of our nation.
02:04Sana'a, the 22nd day of Rabi Al Thani, in the year 1448 AH, corresponding to the 3rd of October,
02:122026.
02:13This statement is officially issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces.
02:16The
02:45past
04:36And that distinction is especially important right now.
04:40The Houthis have already claimed attacks against Saudi targets during the latest escalation.
04:45In September, the group claimed missile and drone attacks involving Riyadh and an Aramco facility in Yanbu.
04:52Just last month, another major fire was reported near fuel storage facilities at King Khalid International Airport.
05:01The Houthis said they had attacked sensitive sites in the Saudi capital, although Saudi authorities did not immediately confirm those
05:08claims.
05:08So this latest fire is emerging against an already highly tense backdrop.
05:15Saudi Arabia has also accused the Houthis of attacking a power distribution station in Medina earlier this week.
05:22Saudi authorities said an investigation and recovered drone wreckage confirmed Houthi involvement.
05:27The Houthis have denied responsibility for that incident.
05:31And the wider conflict is moving quickly.
05:35Reuters reported on October 2nd that Saudi Arabia is preparing a possible military offensive against the Houthis in Yemen, with
05:43the aim of regaining control over the strategic Bab el-Mondeb Strait.
05:47At the same time, Pakistan has said members of the Mecca Defense Pact are preparing emergency discussions over whether there
05:55could be a political engagement with the Houthis.
05:58So where does that leave the Riyadh refinery fire?
06:02For now, the confirmed picture is limited.
06:05There is reported fire activity.
06:07There is satellite evidence of unusual thermal activity.
06:11There are videos showing flames and heavy smoke.
06:14And there are online reports alleging a Houthi attack.
06:18But there is still no independent confirmation that a Houthi strike caused this fire.
06:24As officials respond and more satellite or on-the-ground evidence emerges, the key question will be whether this was
06:31an attack, an accident, or another kind of incident at a critical Saudi energy facility.
06:37For now, the fire is real.
06:39The cause remains unconfirmed.
